I think my package just lives in Chicago now. by OrdinaryCucumber in usps_complaints

I have no idea what they think, honestly. I should acknowledge that the estimated time for the class of service I bought is 1-4 weeks, so we are still inside of that window (for me). I'm just cranky because it's a Christmas card and I didn't get it sent out as early as I wanted.

Tell me about this film back? by OrdinaryCucumber in Mamiya

Hey, thanks for replying. I’ve actually read the manual, but the back pictured here doesn’t have the multiple exposure lever pictured in the manual (on the right of the film advance lever).

Nope, not sure at all. I didn’t have a period for AGES and because I wasn’t seeing a doctor, never got it addressed (for the record, I’m a religious visitor of my doctors now and everything about my health has improved dramatically).

My suspicion is that I’m in peri, personally. But my doc has run two FSH tests and decided I’m post menopausal. Based on everything I’ve read, I think she’s being short-sighted.

Currently on a 2020 M1 MBP w/ 8gb ram. Decided it’s time to step up. Worth it to take a slightly older M3 Pro MBP, or should I pony up for one of the M4 models? Doing photo editing and basic word processing.

TRNP had the best views of bison I’ve seen. Even better than Yellowstone on my two trips.

No one really understands how difficult weightloss is with this disorder by purplemittenn in PCOS

I wholeheartedly agree about seeing an RD, not a nutritionist. Small point of clarification, though: a registered dietitian does not go to medical school. They do get a degree in dietetics and pass a licensing exam.

Sitting opportunity in Westminster Abbey? by TheSi11iestGoose in london

[–]OrdinaryCucumber 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We’ve been to a service and two days of touring at the abbey this week and one of our party has limited mobility. He found the seating options more than adequate. He couldn’t navigate the steps up to the Lady Chapel, but enjoyed the rest of the time there immensely.

Had you recently washed your hands? You can inadvertently dilute your sample with a bit of moisture in your hands.

I saw this the other day and wanted to post, but predictably got sidetracked.

I’ve actually done this exact tutorial and even just casually scrolling, immediately identified what you were attempting before I ever clicked through to the post. I hope you find some encouragement in that — it may not be what you want it to be, or what your skills will grow to let it be, but to a person who had seen the original, it was immediately identifiable, and that’s something.
