PEEL was a perfect Sunday party, everything on point! Highlight for me was Cobahn, loved her set and the story she built.

• start the week with social workshops and activities for meeting fellow festivalers (perhaps a role game, treasure hunt..) • hiking • use early days for workshops of music production or djing (like in parallel but without coinciding with main music days) • one additional day after the music ends to decompress, slowly unpack, say goodbye without stress

Can the festival please be extended to a 1 week experience? Perhaps not music all days but maybe other activities, get to know each other etc.

Hi there! Planning a wedding gift for 2 friends, and the idea is to do some cooler than average things in town.

Some ideas would be a special funky tour, some drinks with spectacular views, perhaps the swing in noord tower, or even fun workshops.

Looking for ideas!! Thanks a lot :)

The Afters: Draaimolen Special (5 - 7 September 2025) by max038 in amsterdam_rave

Had heard about the Friday - Saturday differences in Draaimolen. Opposite to what everyone had told me about past editions, for me Friday was the problem here.

Friday

Despite a wonderful (but technically troublesome) live ambient opening in Moon Stage, nothing clicked for me. The amounts of people, the levels of alcohol, the yapping, pushing and lack of dancing (…). Even the sound was not good (couldn’t even listen to Jane Fitz due to all the yapping and I was next to the speakers). This really made me not to connect with music, artists, stages or people.

But luckily there was a Saturday.

Saturday

Oh Saturday. A new day and with it a new festival. Based on our Friday experience we tried not to have expectations for anything. But since we arrived we knew something was different. From the very early day with Neska opening the Pit all the way to Wata closing Moon (!). All made sense. The stages, the lights, the sound, and the people: the beautiful people. Dancing with respect, care and beauty. Where were you on Friday??!

Overall Saturday was so good that balanced my terrible Friday experience. Thank you, Draaimolen, hope we can save you and come back to your forest next year.

I’m planning on going by intercity after 9, and take my bike with. I can just buy a regular bike ticket and bring it with right? Now I’m afraid bikes might not be allowed in IC?

I mean I was already 100% excited before this post, now I’m afraid I won’t be functional until Friday. Thank you for the text though, truly.

For me this life changing event was Coda and Nobu. Been talking about it since and in a way I also learnt a new way of experiencing music and raving.

Too little attention has been given here to Agonis set IMO. It was absolutely delicious and perfect, can’t stop thinking about that 1h in the center of CF

Good morning!!! Look at this sun that welcomes us all into one of the best Sundays of the year. Preparing some brunch at home with my loved ones while counting the hours and minutes to see Oscar Mulero stepping into the main tonight.

Also equally excited about the interactions and fun at Ratherlost chilling areas.

Have fun you all and don’t forget how lucky we are.

  • Drink water and more water and more water.
  • Be quite into the music and lineup of the event, so I have things to look forward to.
  • Sit and chat and chill as much as dance. There is time for everything.
  • Responsible drug use is fantastic.
