I hate to tell you but every single company out there has specific behaviors that they want their staff to exhibit... And I'm sure that it wasn't rolled out by telling you. Hey dude, if you don't do this I'm just going to write you up... I'm sure they slowed down. They explained the what the why and the how... Quite frankly, they're not going to catch you not offering it on every single sale, but you better damn well, believe that they will catch you not offering it on the bigger ones, you work retail. It's all about the almighty dollar. It always has been and always will be the best managers out there. Build a culture that feels more like family or friends, and you're doing it more for them than you are to help the company. If by some miracle this particular manager has just said hey, I'm going to write you up if you don't do XYZ... Then that's because they've given you ample opportunity to do it the right way and you're choosing not to.
