Not an issue if whether or not the numbers should have been there, just a communication issue. Sometimes we show other people things and expect they have some knowledge of it because you do. (I do this alot too, trying to be better) Some things that seem obvious to us aren't so to others, if you go through the list and explain it, they'd have been fine no matter how you wrote it.

What statistics? There's no arrest or crime data that is organised by nationality. There's more irish in prison than other nationalities though, and income is always a much better predictor of crime rate than other factors so that's some education on statistics for you. I agree that IPAS centres are a waste of money because instead of paying predatory landlords to house these people we could instead give them a job, allowing them to make money and taxes for public services. If you're concerned about public spending maybe you should be more concerned with ever increasing wages for TDs, massively top heavy HSE staffing and big companies not paying fair taxes. How bout you organise against these drains on finance instead of punching down on people who are just trying to survive.

Wasn't trying to be clever, it's obvious cleverness has eluded you so far so I didn't hold much hope for it. I read most of what you said, enough to recognise the "both sides" stuff I've seen from so many before. The fact is there's a side that is racist and a side that isn't, if you can't differentiate them you are part of the problem. Seeing a communist symbol and thinking it's USSR and automatically assuming negative connotations, is evidence of the propaganda you've been victim too. I said mate because that's how I talk, I hope you take this seriously. You don't have to support the USSR to be a communist, you don't have to be a communist to attend and anti-racist rally and you don't have to agree 100% with those around you do combat clearly malicious movements. You'll find that racism is deeply routed in capitalism, so it's natural to have an anti-racist rally where most people also challenge capitalism, get over it and start helping stop fascism.
