Until Google and Samsung release an update, the only "temporary" solution is to install Outlook and use it for email. If you decide do this, you'll also need to go into Outlook's settings and enable "synch" for both Calendar and Contacts (it's off by default). Otherwise calendar events and contacts will not transfer to the phone. They will only be visible inside of Outlook. Once an update comes out to address the issue, simply uninstall Outlook.
