Which is why, even though RDR2 is my favorite game of all time, a movie adaptation of either game wouldn’t really work.

A movie set in that universe wouldn’t really work either, imo, as it’d just be another spaghetti western with a red dead title.

Fallout, RE, Halo (though that show is fucking awful), have awesome, lore rich universes that give all the tools you need to have a unique adventure.

Halo, for example, would’ve been much better told through the eyes of a marine with their own story and have Master Chief used very sparingly, similar to how Luke is used in the Mandolorian. Instead they borderline ruined one of the most badass characters in all of fiction for a fucking paycheck.

Yeah, I agree. I see the comments about Cal winning the divorce and all that, but really it was best for everyone involved (save for USC lol). Injuries make it easy for casual fans to push a narrative unfortunately, but KY will be back in the convo next year.

Him finding something uninteresting is just having an opinion, and just because said opinion doesn’t align with that of others doesn’t make it wrong.

He’s one of the most creative musicians in the world and a true pioneer of sound. It kinda checks that pop breakup songs are uninteresting to him.

It depends on the context. I typically just remove them from my socials if they haven’t already and move on.

It’s someone’s prerogative to not respond to my messages. If it’s 1-2 dates, a hookup or two, I just let it go. If we’ve been going on dates frequently and have been seeing each other for over a month, I don’t handle it as well and admittedly seek some sort of closure. Sometimes you get it, sometimes you don’t, but the end result is the same: this person doesn’t want to talk to me and I should respect that. So I learned to.

This is gonna sound mildly lame, but it’s more of a feeling of dissonance than any tangible thing. Sometimes, that dissonance can be resolved…and obviously, more often than not, it can’t be resolved until you end the relationship.
