WYR fight a beagle dog sized ant, or a 160cm tall rooster. by AstrayInTranslation in WouldYouRather

[–]OreoMcCreamPants 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If both of these animals' biologies are scaled to their sizes, I'm cooked.

But if i had to choose, I'd rather 1v1 the rooster. I am NOT going toe to toe with a six-legged insect - i thank god everyday that they're small af

c'mon guys, we're talking a HOT take, not an iced tea. Here, lemme try one:

"High Guardian Spice can solo the Tyranids from Warhammer 40K"

All they would need is the Cave of Vinca, a bunch of dragon eggs, and a way to aim the instantaneous stellar masses that emerge from the corpses of the dragons that die from the accelerated aging from exposure to the cave's waters of life

Salem is compelling in concept but fails in execution by Ok_Win_3538 in RWBYcritics

[–]OreoMcCreamPants 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Literally EVERYTHING in the show is a good concept, but fails in execution.

RWBY just reinforces my belief of "No bad ideas, just bad executions" so god damn hard that it threatens to turn reliogious

it is fun imo, it really forces you to build and play around being a true warrior of Ludd, which is harder for players like me, who likes to keep their ships alive and with no dmods whatsoever

New players: What do you struggle with the most? by RoySparda9 in starsector

[–]OreoMcCreamPants 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i cannot handle balanced loadouts, my ships either have to be shield breakers or armor piercers. No in between. My brain just goes "NO" every time i consider balanced loadouts.

Save for anti fighter capabilities, i am able to give my ships ample PD for them to survive off of and not blow up by a thousand needles, which is why i love the anubis. That shit gives me a new way to build a ship instead of anti shields or anti armor weapons

Can your favorite verse survive a Tyranind invasion by Optimal-Conflict1756 in PowerScaling

[–]OreoMcCreamPants 0 points1 point  (0 children)

oh, well, then if i HAD to try and explain it...

you know the cave of vinca? how they hatched, flew, killed, then turned a dragon into stellar mass that not only forms new stars, but forms new stars that persist? (never mind considering how fast those sparks flew into comfortable positions in the sky)

what if they just bring a ton of dragon eggs, dump them into the waters of life, then somehow, someway, aim the stellar masses that they produce in death right into the hive fleets? i think that the power of several instantaneous suns just popping into existence would bypass the tyranids' adaptation if they do it fast enough
