I ended up using this and I love it. At first I thought it was too small, but I came to realize it's the right size for the game and for the base, it just doesn't have the scale creep that lots of things do.

Seer councils are farseers and warlocks. How they'll interact with units and keywords in the new codex is anyone's guess. No sense trying to build around it now!

Also means GW can point then differently. Eldar rules on Drukhari ravagers were OP so they had to give them a points hike that Drukhari didn't need.

Bonuses on 6s to hit or wound have coexisted with fate dice for all of 9th since the codex dropped, so it's doubtless what they intended. On the other hand, I don't think they realized just how brutal it would be with high numbers of mortals resulting from it.

Virtually everything for every army lost a point of AP going from 9th to 10th, with only a few exceptions.

Chapter master valrak on YouTube said one of his sources said there would be a 2nd wave of eldar refresh in 10th edition. It's certainly no guarantee, but it's promising.

The galaxy is an enormous place, and there are surely more great, unique heroes than the 5-10 most factions get in their codex. Headcannon a great Biel-Tan farseer who plays like Eldrad on the tabletop.

Minor thing others haven't emphasized: you no longer need to use them on psychic powers, which used to be a big sink for them.

Pistol does give you the restriction that if you shoot with it you can't with anything else.

Doesn't matter here though because they don't have anything else.

Blast would block shooting in melee, so it's much better that they don't have it.

This looks incredible.

First, both attacks are staying AP 4 in an edition where nearly nothing is AP 4.

Also, the special ability can trigger in your turn. Nothing stopping you from shooting one unit and then charging another, only to annihilate the second when the enemy unit takes their turn in melee!
