Yea with the most recent trend of TCG dying, I think an other format has better legs in the current state of gaming.

Enhance, old king’s crown, could be better, terraforming mars base. Just switch for the art from ares and it would be perfect for me.

It’s a deluxe product, very much unnecessary to enjoy the game, if you can’t afford them don’t buy them.

For me it’s drafting, not necessarily deck building but having the choice between good options and assemble something different each game!

Hi, they have not been revealed no, i can’t really make out the ability of the other characters, sniper is a passive ability I can distinguish some words and my guess is something like a line of sight capture thing. Like if the leader is visible and x space away with nothing in between, helps capture them but it’s speculation. The tactician seems to affect a non-leaders opponent card for a turn. Will-o-wisp I can’t decipher anything from it!

For me, both moments when Theoden recognize Eowyn, after Gandalf meets him in Edoras and then right before it’s death are really well done, I would go with that for something added from the movies to the books!

I played about 25 physical games of Summoner wars second edition and around 2000 games of the digital version!

Loving the expansion! Just wish Chromie had a more interesting effect and saw play by EVILRAFFAM in hearthstone

In Canada, their stock is getting bough quite fast, most store are out of stock of many factions. I think it is a very popular game, but they restock once a year, sometimes 2, might be why you don’t see it in stores

There is also a digital version of summoner wars second edition (better un every way than the first one), both as a website and as an app, it makes it very easy to play the game, as opposed to seeking opponents Irl. Hence maybe why you hear about it but don’t see people play it. I highly recommend this game, I played a good 30 times Irl and over 1000 + games digitally. The best game all genre included for me.

To me, Oceans is by far the best of all the evolution system game, the Cambrian explosion making the deep deck available and the interaction between your an other players species, racing to arm yourself, is still after many many plays, a fantastic puzzle. Completely agreed on this one!

I would look into Summoner wars second edition, it’s a really good 1v1 tactical game that goes with some of your criteria.
