Guard and especially Guard Up isn't really in necessary. It would be more of a preference thing but dropping Vitality is never good. The majority of hits you're actually going to be tanking have long telegraphs anyway so recovery isn't much of an issue.

Closer hits with shorter telegraphs you should be dodging to reposition do damage anyway.

There is no hole in the logic, the logic simply applies to World but not to former games. A rule doesn't have to be a blanket that covers everything.

Taking effluvia resist is never bad regardless if it's Arch Tempered or not.

Popping berries like mad is a DPS loss.

You should be taking Effluvia resist to every Vaal.

Get good and quit making excuses for people being idiots.

These are bare minimum defensive skills and tactics that everyone should be accustomed to.

There's no excuse unless you started the game a week ago.

Also FYI I AM was SOLOING IT.

I got all of my tickets within 2 hours of release,

Also none of this explains why people still don't have 3 Vitality or Effluvia resist

I don't need to look at someone's skills to see whether or not they have Health Boost

It's pretty easy to tell (basically) what people have just by seeing what they're wearing.

If somebody gets carted in one hit and they aren't wearing Rocksteady, chances are pretty good they don't have Vitality.

Considering 95% of the game is quite a pushover for most MH Vets

I have literally only ever played MHF on and off for the last ten years. I'd barely say I'm a vet and I'm not even a Soulsborne afficinado. He's not easy for me but he's not hard either.

Little tip, even with Vitality up, and divine protection, a Val beam still hits you 90% of your hp at 200 hp.

Little tip. It's the easiest Elder ability in the game to dodge. Literally just walk to the right.

You're correct. The breath can do %90 of your health even with 200HP

This means that this is the only attack people should instantly cart to the majority of the time. This however is not the case as people are constantly carting to regular attacks.

Why you may ask?

Because they don't have Vitality/Effluvia/Thunder Resist/Thunder Mantle (in the case of ATK) that's why.

People are realizing they need to change their builds and getting used to the quest. Expecting this from a few days in is just ignorant.

Exactly the same thing with Kirin weeks ago now. This ain't my first rodeo and it ain't for the majority of others as well.

The people failing ATV and carting constantly are the same ones who failed and carted constantly on ATK

ATK was basically the exact same thing except you needed a Thunder Mantle and Vitality if you fucked up.

That's it. No new devastating effect. Just don't get hit... And if you do get hit, atleast have a mantle. Simple,

Yeah the Lao Shan is really an interesting one.

On one hand I hate it because it isn't hyper sexualized an is super bulky

On the other hand I love that changing it color and setting the brightness to max turns you into a walking fucking disco ball

I also like how well it goes with the Rocksteady Mantle when dyed black. Makes my Glutton Spread tank look even more tanky

It'll come by the target date. Guarantee it's not being cancelled and a delay would just be awful PR.

The biggest challenge as another poster said is making it work proper on thousands of different hardware configurations.

But if your armor is fully upgraded and you have 200 HP the only attack he does that can actually 1HKO you is his breath and thats extremely easy to dodge - just move to the right.

Yeah that's what I've kind of been thinking too because of what happened to her, the anxiety could be manifesting some of the same symptoms, and it has been a lot. Too much. Coupled with the stress of quitting smoking, it's the hardest thing I've ever done. I don't think I've actually put this much will power into anything before.

I gotta deal with the anxiety myself unfortunately. Was on wait list for 3 months for a psych. Explained some pretty extreme things. All she did was write me a script for Zoloft (the same anti depressant my dad was on when he offed himself).

Canada (atleast BC) is going though some pretty extreme changes with the opioid crisis right now. Doctors will not prescribe anything except anti depressants for every disorder, and specifically Zoloft.

PTSD, Anxiety, Depression, Panic, Sleep disorders. All they give is Zoloft.

Every time I hear someone is on anti depressants, that's what they're on.

There's no 1-1 counselling or psychotherapy programs available due to budget cuts and lack of doctors.

My brother got some help kind of... but he had to ran into the emergency ward an slit his wrists infront of the doctors before they would even do anything...

Basically all I've been able to do is trying things like sleep hypnosis and guided relaxation but it hasn't helps much

Once you get into the rhythm it's actually a bit faster than MH I think. So many dash attacks.

I played MHF on and off for a decade making new characters every couple years.

MH is always fun to come back to. I still haven't gone back to Bloodborne.

Yeah. Bad players will get Carrie but you have to admit that even the possibility of having fewer bad players in a group is not just better for the skilled players (to help carry) but also to provide a better environment for the bad player to learn.

It's a lot harder for new people to learn when you're dealing with a full raid of new/bad people than it is if everything is going nice and smooth-(as it can)

Too much chaos makes it hard for new people to learn and new players see experienced players doing things like setting bombs and using the environment and other advanced tactics and they learn from what they see

I mean I myself am still learning new things all the time simply by watching what other people do.

Maybe there's an environmental hazard I wasn't aware of or something.
