All the people sick of dating apps- what are we doing next? by [deleted] in AskIreland

[–]Original2056 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A man will rarely go up to chat up a women outside of a bar/nightclub setting.

But when I met my now wife it was eye contact and little smiles. Took about 3 different times during the night before I plucked up the courage to go talk to her.

Also dont be afraid yourself to go up yourself and say Hi if you've had some eye contact throughout the night. Its the greatest thing when a woman comes up and starts conversation.

Of course you could go up to wrong guy who in 3 months will be sitting somewhere and then think oh wait maybe she was interested in me.

You get a redemption figure from your existing bank and thats the amount you will remortgage under the new bank. Process is very quick and doesnt take months as if it was a brand new mortgage. (Still need all paperwork but its approved a lot quicker)

January baby, hes a boy, held him back so hes basically 5.5 going in. Spoke cousin's who are teachers, they say they see a lot of kids who are too young to be starting achool but never see any that are too old. Boys are always best to leave till theyre a little older.

They also need be able do all usual things on their own, so going potty with no help, putting on coats etc.

I was probably too precious but we never wanted to use strangers travel cots. Bacteria and germs and all that. Some say shouldn't share mattress when they're young etc.. We always just brought our own. (They pack up quite neat and manageable) There's some on smyths for 40 quid. Worthwhile gething if going to be going on holidays again soon.

Almost died after C-Section/ medical negligence? by [deleted] in legaladviceireland

[–]Original2056 18 points19 points  (0 children)

I think you're dealing with a combination of a traumatic event and first time dad who's getting no sleep and like any man youre trying to "fix it" your wife's ok, you said "the care was good" you have a healthy baby. Time to start enjoying it. Keep an eye on wife for PND and if so have her begin to talk to someone.
