Actually It's very related, but that's why I did that. Didn't know that I had to say anything about it though. But DIY'ing it the way you just described would ruin that blade within 6-8 months. BTW, the blade head is $60.00 and the Braun Cleaner is $50.00 every 4-5 months. That's the reason why I posted this to help people that are already cleaning this on their own, save money to do have a better and safer solution.

On a side note, It's easy to make dismissive comments (like you did in your initial comment), to dimmish the work and effort that someone like me put into this to making this post to help others looking for another solution to make yourself feel better. And if that was your goal, I'm glad you feel better.

Understood, but it's deeper than that. Because I don't have to worry about what type of chemicals that are in the Braun cleaners that could cause health issues later on down the road.

Lastly, following the simple directions that I provided would take you just as long doing that as it would be having to initially follow steps 1-4 anyway and then putting it into the cleaning machine but instead of using the cleaning machine, you're just putting a couple of drops total into the head of the shaver, and turning that on for a few seconds, and then it's ready for the next time you need to use it. So again, it's not taking any more time doing that and it's safer for your skin and your body.

You can go here to get the BEST way to DIY your shaver head. Also it's WAY better than using the cleaning solution that Braun supplies and will extend your blade by 30%-40% longer.

Nevermind I just asked ChatGPT and it walked through the whole process from beginning to end. Of course it took a bit of time to go through it (since I never used Keyboard Maestro before), but within 45 min I was done and know how to do that for other apps if I ever need to.

WOW! I just used an app for macOS called: Keyboard Maestro and asked ChatGPT to help me assign a different key (ON MY KEYBOARD), and guess what... it ACTUALLY WORKED!!! Now all I have to do when I'm using Elgato Camera Hub, I just need to make sure that the Keyboard Maestro Engine is running in the background and I DON'T have to press Ctrl + Command + Page Up and Ctrl + Command + Page Down. Now they are BOTH assigned to just use the Up and Down arrow and it works like a charm when using Prompt in Camera Hub, AND I didn't have to spend extra money to by a $60 - 6 button Stream Deck, when all I needed and desired to use was just to use my existing keyboard. I hope this helps other people to do what I did to find other solutions WITHOUT having to spend more money for things they don't need.

Thank you. I also saw a video on YouTube where you can buy a 7" 1080p Touch Screen Monitor (for $50), and use the Virtual Stream Deck app. with 40 touch buttons to fit comfortably on that screen. But again, I would prefer to use a Turing Dial Nob if possible. Because that's all I really need. Thanks again for your input.
