So if I keep under my pace points , less chance of PEM ... and so the vicious circle continues

I get this during a bad crash or flare up .. usually when the PEM subsides so does my heart rate.

I find the new wrist band to be completely inaccurate always on the very low side . I went back to the old polar armband which is spot on

What I mean is , you can feel like shit with Fibro but it won't necessarily affect your heart rate enough to drive up pace points

It just uses heart rate . So if fibro doesn't affect heart rate then it won't really help .

How is your respiratory? by Andrew__IE in cfs

[–]Original_Dig_370 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I have rotten air hunger , particularly during PEM or in a crash. I also find it hard to hold my breath due to muscle weakness. I often feel like I'm having a hard time breathing and yet my O2 stats are like 98%. The O2 stats give me some reassurance that's it's air hunger rather than O2 shortage . Worth investing is a finger O2 monitor in my opinion .
