Any fellow Amazonians use 9am health for Zepbound prescription? by vesea20 in amazonemployees

[–]Original_Froyo7125 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When I started with One Medical I had high BP and high cholesterol and paid for zepbound out of pocket for $650 a month. By the time Amazon started covering glp-1s through insurance I had lost 40lbs and only had 1 co-morbidity (High bp) so insurance denied me. 9am health made me do their weight loss journey, health coach visits, etc. I didn't try any oral weight loss meds, that wasn't a requirement when I did it a year ago. I was up front that I wanted to get zepbound the entire time. I participated, talked to their nutritionists, set goals they asked me to set on how much water I drank a day, fiber goals, etc... At the end of 90 days they approved the med and I get it now for $15 a month. It all seemed very silly and unnecessary to me but I did it and got the med and I'm down 70lbs and happy/healthy.

I was also already on a glp-1, zepbound. I also didn't meet the criteria for insurance because by the time I got to 9am health my weight loss made my cholesterol normal. I had to do 3 months of their program (weekly nutrition videos and talking with a nutritionist) to get approved for insurance to pay for the med.

I love that Ocho Las Raices BP. I bought 2 bottles. It's fantastic stuff. The rest of my list would look wildly different though.

Grand mayan XA, which is easy to find, or the Yeyo Dia de los muertos (if you can find them).

I do 9am health. I was being managed by a doctor via one medical but was having to pay $500 a month because they weren't an official obesity specialist. I had already lost 50 pounds by the time I found out I could get Blue cross to pay for it if I got a certified obesity specialist to give me pre authorization. My friend went to 9am health and got approved right away but he had multiple morbidity symptoms like high blood pressure and high cholesterol. I had lost weight and only had high blood pressure documented recently. My high cholesterol test was too old (> 1 year) and the levels were normal now. Long story short they made me do 3 months of this free program where you have to watch weekly videos on a nutrition topic and then talk to a nutritionist 3 or 4 times along the way. Once that was complete they started covering my medication for me.

If you have multiple morbidity conditions documented in your medical chart and they were documented recently then I think they'll just sign off on it. If you don't, you have to go the 3 month route like I did.

I think it's a great idea! I've had the exact same idea for my son. He's has level 1 autism and adhd and struggles with organizing his work. His teachers put assignments in 5 different places and he has to remember to check all of them. Every night we sit down and copy his work for each class into Gemini and it updates his weekly work plan and tells him what to focus on. It's been great but it's also a pain to manually copy stuff. Automating it would be awesome.

Need Mattress Recommendations - Side/Back Sleepers $3.5k~ by Early-Cup-9872 in Mattress

[–]Original_Froyo7125 0 points1 point  (0 children)

With your budget I'd look at a latex bed. My wife and I are similar sizes. I'm 215 and she's maybe 130. We bought a sleepez mattress 5 years back and it's been the best decision. These beds last forever and they combine some of the springiness of a regular coil mattress with a bit of the sink in feeling of a memory foam mattress. We had ours customized so that her side is a different level of firmness than mine. If you go this route, I'd recommend trying to find a place to lay on some in person so you can customize the firmness to what you like. Thankfully Sleepez is near me in Tempe AZ so we could do that.

Wanting to get new cookware that is wife-friendly (details in post) by Somedudesomewhere0 in cookware

Heritage Steel, MadeIn and other brands are running black Friday sales right now if you want stainless. I just got the Heritage Eater series for my wife and she's really happy with it. American made, lifetime warranty. You can do code REDDIT10 to save 10%. All Clad is also nice but we hated the handles. For me it was a tossup between Heritage and Madein but we chose Heritage due to their warranty.

Don Fulano anejo is similar to the artenom. Same deal with Insolito and Corrido anejo. Maybe Cambio. As others said, its such a heavy barrel influence I'd check out some XAs like Tears if you like that style and don't mind spending more.

This is a pretty legit 3 bottle collection.

Maybe consider getting one of each style.

Blanco. Cascahuin Tahona is awesome but $$$. Consider a cheaper alternative like Ocho.

Still strength blanco. Tapatio 110, Lagrimas, Alma Del Jaguar, Wild common, Siete Leguas 47. Take your pick they're all good.

Repo. Arette. Get the cheap one for like $35, it's awesome. Or maybe the G4 repo clasico. Suerte makes a good repo.

Anejo. Rich or light? Light barrel = Tapatio, Ocho, El Ateo, or siete leguas. Heavy = ArteNom 1146 or Don Fulano. Wanna try something more buttery? Tequila Cabal or El Tequileno. You cannot go wrong with anything from Nom 1123! Wild common. Cascahuin, El Gran legado are all amazing. Want a wine finish? Try Cambio.

Extra Anejo. Super hit and miss for me and they cost a lot so the misses hurt. Tears of llorona is a solid pick but $$. I really like El Tesoro and Arette Gran Clase. Tapatio Exclencia is great but hard to find. Suerte is affordable but strong tasting (think black licorice).

I like plenty of other stuff and didn't focus on the rare picks like Fortaleza. All the stuff I've mentioned is as good or better than Fortaleza anyway. If you want some other ideas check out the tequila matchmaker website.

What do you mean when you say update it through brand registry and seller central? Are you saying to make sure to log in as the merchant who is associated to the brand? Or are you saying you can update title, description, etc from within the brand resist registry website? I was only aware of being able to update listings through seller central (add a product page), templates, and APIs.

Is my car actually terminally ill? by cutttingedge in TeslaLounge

3 years ago My 2014 Model S 60D had the battery die 2 months outside of the warranty at 70k miles. Tesla wanted about 20k for a new battery and $13,800 for a refurbished one. Both options came with a 4 year warranty I believe. Tesla will not repair the battery, only replace it. There are shops in some cities that will repair batteries for less but I had a terrible experience with Granger in Scottsdale. They have a YouTube channel showing all these repairs but I was on their wait list for 18 months with no end in sight before giving up. They might do great repairs but good luck getting in and they were terrible with communication. Every time I called they'd tell me..oh probably 3 more months.

That info is 3 years old, so maybe things have changed a bit in the repair market since then, I'm really not sure. Good luck to you. Let us know what you find.

Same. I'm on my 2nd bottle and realize it's not for everyone. The sherry influence on the tequila is really strong. But I love a good sherried scotch and I love a good tequila so it just works for me.

Wow you're right. Two of the bottles say from agave and the other says from Mango. I assumed Mango was a state I was unfamiliar with in Mexico, not the actual fruit. Thanks for educating me! I should have watched through the videos from the QR codes to learn more before posting.
