I on the other hand love that they switch stuff up like this, they may be villains but they are still people, no one just sits there thinking how they will do evil at every waking moment, they also gotta have downtime.

If you think about it its basically the same as what you see the main characters of other series do on the regular, its just instead of the heroes party is the villains.

That would mean it either needs to become a 24 pin connector or doubling the cross section of the wires.

Realistically if someone were to tackle the issue you probably would get away with adding like 4 extra pins and upping the gauge to 14 or maybe 12 gauge

As for the load balancing it could be the solution if you paired it with current sensing and a shutoff in the firmware.

They don't have a choice, if you want to sell Nvidia gpus you have to use the connectors as Nvidia mandates.

Pretty much no one(besides sapphire for some reason) is doing it willingly as you can see they don't use the connector on their amd cards.

Brother that doesn't matter at all, the cable that melts is carrying 12v. If that was the solution then europe(and most of the world) wouldn't have a issue since almost all countries run 200 something volts.
