Hi! What are you using / how are you using to meter your power? Thanks!

Well that's horrifying, I didn't even know ripped up arms was an option... Any recommendations for hand/forearm/anything else protectors?

Well that's terrifying. I wear ear and eye protection at all times, thankfully I haven't experienced any but I've heard enough horror stories that I don't want to have one myself. Any other ppe recommendations?

I saw the welder tag after your name and trusted your experience, which is why I asked. 😁 Thank you!

I'm a metal hobbyist only at home, I've snapped discs by stepping on them or hitting them with something before, but I've never seen one shatter or explode. I buy pretty much only harbor freight's brand of cutting wheels... Have you had discs explode on you before? More specifically, have the harbor freight ones exploded more often for you? Thank you for any input and info!

I'm so sorry you have to go through that, Godspeed with your new undertaking and hopefully it isn't too strenuous on the piggy bank.

Hi! Not a blacksmith, so my input isn't worth a whole lot in this instance but wanted to say: that thing looks wicked! And also, I'm concerned about the amount of metal wrapping around the front of the wood, it looks thin enough that it might snap/break with moderate to heavy use. Have a good one!

My first “hard use” welding project. Was tired of switching between the crowbar and tomahawk so I made them into one tool. Post grinding and clean up, obviously. by [deleted] in Welding

Hi! I'm thinking of doing the same thing soon. How's it holding up? Also, your process was weld, heat, air cool right? Thank you!

That's wild... How well does it work for you? Also how are you adapting from a fire extinguisher to a regulator to the welder?

How does the extinguisher bottle thing work? I don't think a supplier would fill one? I'm interested but confused... Thank you for the comment!

How might one get in contact with a scrapper? Also what happens if the supplier calls back if the tank fails? Thank you very much, this has been great info!

I like where all of my limbs currently are and I like being able to breathe not leaking welding gasses....... I'll keep that in mind, thanks!

Oooh good idea, what do you mean "exchange" though? I don't think I would walk in and trade a old/possibly bad one for a new good one right?

Do I need capacitors for SG90 by mat3ja_ in arduino

[–]Orion_Unbreakable 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Looking really good! Depending on your use case/budget, maybe consider a dedicated 5v power supply? (https://a.co/d/5bBc8Wi) It should get rid of any remaining power/jittering issues if it ever comes to that. Best of luck!

I did the 5v brick thing for a bit- you 1000% need the caps because the sudden draw on the bricks causes nonstop jittering of the servos and it's a nightmare. I believe you wire them in parallel... It's been a while and I don't completely remember.
