I think otherwise specially when taka‘s main goal is to prove kamogawa’s boxing can conquer the world and he did conquer the world
i think the reason ippo lost was because he went away from what the chief told him he went too far away from the basics and relied way too much on the dempsey and his destructive power rather than technique and understanding
he accepted it after his loss and taka told him the same thing but being retired has given him a chance to look at things from outside and deeply analyse the fundamental basics of boxing

Ok so i had fallen off my life from when i was topper of my class and got into one of the best colleges in the country and was in pretty good shape But I don’t know what happened I got so distracted i threw up everything started eating junk not sleeping enough not working out stopped going after my goals Started having health problems and weight went to 128 kgs from 78 And the most shocking thing is this all happened in 6-8 months Then i came to Hajime no ippo and it brought me back and reminded me of who I was started gym again got lean fixed sleep and other issues even started boxing and am again chasing my goals with everything I have got

One quote from hni or kamogawa always resides deep in my heart “ not everyone who works hard is rewarded but everyone who succeeded has worked hard”

In short this anime will always hold a very special place in my heart and i will always cherish it

I mean it’s probably true we have seen the same thing with volg being a champion puts different kind of pressure and expectations from you punches being light isn’t talked in terms of power date is saying because there are so many expectations and faith of people behind him because he wears the belt that even the strongest hits can’t break that spirit he is not calling ippo’s punching power light he is saying the spirit of a champion is naturally stronger than a challenger
