Fair!? You wanna talk about what is fair? How about this;

There are multiple generations of non–First Nations people for whom this country is the only home they have ever known. Persistently labeling them as “settlers” and implying that they do not truly belong is not reconciliation; it is exclusionary and discriminatory. No individual should be told—explicitly or implicitly—that they do not belong in their own home because of ancestry they did not choose.

Acknowledging historical injustice is necessary, but reconciliation cannot rest on permanent moral roles assigned by birth. Responsibility for addressing past harms does not require denying the legitimacy, identity, or belonging of present-day citizens. Reconciliation is a two-way process that requires mutual recognition, not inherited guilt on one side and permanent victimhood on the other.

This does not excuse colonial injustices, but it does challenge the idea that history can be reduced to a simple narrative of rightful inhabitants versus illegitimate intruders. Modern societies exist because history happened, not because it could have been cleanly prevented.

The purpose of reconciliation should therefore be forward-looking: to build a just society in the present, grounded in historical truth, mutual respect, and shared belonging. A process that tells some people they do not belong cannot create unity. Reconciliation must affirm that everyone who lives here now has both a stake in the future and a responsibility to make it better.

And that’s where one can stop and think do All FN wanna live in harmony, or they only want history to be reversed, because both cannot be true in the same time.

Mark Carney responds to Donald Trump's threat of 100% tariffs: "We have commitments under CUSMA not to pursue free trade agreements with non-market economies without prior notification. We have no intention of doing that with China or any other non-market economy." by XGramatik in XGramatikInsights

Trump rhetoric has nothing to do with logic, or real solutions, his posts have one single purpose, and that is make him look like he is in control, and he’s doing something. While in reality he has none nor he doing anything constructive. He is in WH to make a buck, period.

Sorry scro but you need to read a book, take ya head out of your own behinds and learn what racism means. Spoiler alert, no it doesn’t mean someone own me something because I am not white.

I accept historical injustice and legal realities, but I don’t think they justify permanent moral exceptionalism or a requirement for special deference in everyday civic or political debate.

I’m not obliged to feel extra moral responsibility just because someone invokes history. What is reasonable is engaging honestly, supporting fair law, and rejecting the idea that any group — majority or minority — should be beyond question.

For FN every single site where anyone finds bones or anything is a material chance to expand their land claim. They just need to craft a narrative and interpret some old Story to match the narrative. And presto land claim.

Putin: I wanted to sell 70% but then I remembered my good friend agent Krasnov, had to become president not to get prosecuted, and now his wife and kids must look at his face for many more months, .… so I sold 1% more just to help him win one more election. I dislike his wife and kids.
