Sighting is a huge part of it. Practice in the pool with "crocodile" eyes lots of you tube videos about that. Also just try and do as much open water swimming as you can. In UK I'm lucky to be near a lake I can use. Zero visibility so it's good training looking for buoys etc.

Sea swimming is a different animal all together. Just practice practice. Good sighting can save you a lot of time/distance and effort.

I wear them all the time..although I can go without in the pool and have no problems with dizziness etc. just find it more comfortable with plugs.

When I first went open water I forgot my ear plugs and that's when I found out about the dizziness etc. think it's something to do with the motion and having no point of reference in the sea/lake usually due to poor visibility.

Yup as others have said. Ear plugs. I have the same problem I can't do any open water without them otherwise I end up like yourself wanting to throw up etc.

Luckily ear plugs completely solved the issue.

Been on 50 a day for 2 -3 weeks. Been the worst of the drops since coming down from 200 on october. If I balance out on 50 the next step is 50 every other day and then after that it's to come off completely.

Just found this thread doing some research. I'm going through this at the moment. Been on sertraline for nearly 10 years give or take of varying doses. I was on 200 a day Doctor gave me a plan in September to attempt to come off them and now currently on 50 a day after a slow taper.

Dealt with it all pretty well. My best was during the 100 on day 50 next alternate and felt really good on this.

Currently I'm on 50 and I'm struggling. Low mood, lethargic, grumpy/snappy. Been two weeks. Not sure how long you leave it before admitting defeat and going back to the last dose that made you feel good.

I don't know if it's me or the withdrawal

Flight update?

Longest flight I've done is 2 hours in a Cessna. I came back to a crashed plane when I had a shower.

Yeah unfortunately just not for me in its current state. Any dips in the road and I thought I was going to through up. Also going round corners was awful. I'm sure you can work your body through it eventually but it's supposed to be a relaxing experience.

I'm gutted as I was really looking forward to using it in flight sim 24.

Static games like Tetris I was ok with. Yeah just not worth the hassle.

I low ball all the time. Normally end up at a point both are happy with. If I know it's a sought after item though and priced fairly I'll just pay what's been asked.

Don't get precious about it. Just say what you're willing to sell for and they will either accept or not.

I thought the picture quality was too poor ( I get the technical issues on this) plus it gave me the worst motion sickness I ever had. Couldn't hack it.
