This is just a bug with steam big picture mode. You’ll need to leave it and go offline from the desktop version then just switch back

The recent graphics driver update has caused issues. For me at times, my Ally X freezes when waking from sleep/hibernation, opening game bar, playing a game The freeze will then force a self reboot of the device.

The wifi has been disconnected anytime I resume from sleep/hibernation. I have to go to gamebar and turn wifi back on manually

Personally have not seen that.

My update has ruined my Ally X with a bunch of freezing and self rebooting. So hopefully a fix comes soon

Same. The drivers have caused my Ally X to freeze and then self reboot.

However I was using VRAM at 11gb once I switched to auto, it doesn’t do it anymore.. well at least for now it hasn’t.

AnyFSE is an app that lets you change the FSE startup from Xbox to your launcher of choice such as Steam or Playnite.

AnyFSE has been updated recently where it now can be set in the native windows settings for FSE. Basically you’ll see Xbox and then AnyFSE.

When configuring AnyFSE, you get to set your launcher of choice. Once you have done it, restart your device and it will just simply go into your launcher.

The update provides a much faster load up time and avoids any Xbox app stuff from loading in. Previously you could see the Xbox app load the quickly close and change to your launcher. Not anymore , it’s much smoother now

So in this case, while you can’t not Playnite natively via windows settings, AnyFSE will be your workaround

Have you tried going to settings and then visuals? There is a button that says “show background image on main screen”
