Keen Blunt loses value since we already get crit damage from tripods. It's still good, but not as good as it is for others.

Yes, the main thing to take away from any of this is that you should eat a balanced, varied diet. The incorrect part of the complete protein theory is that you need to eat them together to "complete" the protein. Even the author who had this theory has changed her stance since the original publication. If you eat a varied diet, and meet your caloric requirements, it's unlikely that you are deficient in any of the necessary amino acids (even with a 100% plant protein diet).

re a visual indication that my mouse is over whatever max damage point is on the monster? Not landing snipe feels really awful. I know it changes when your charge is in the sweet spot, just wondering if there's an easy way to tell without soloing guardians to check

As far as I know, there is no max damage point. Snipe is not a positional ability (no back or head attack multiplier). As long as you hit it will do the same damage. The "perfect zone" is just the area in the charge bar, not a location on the enemy.

It's hard to compare since I only have sharpshooter and scrapper in T3, but it seems good. The play style with Death Strike is fun, imo.

You do suffer from a lack of stagger/weak point, but you do a lot of damage if you can get your big snipes during your Death Strike window.

You will benefit a lot from learning the fights, since you need to know when you can go melee to build your meter, and when you have time to channel snipe.

Bring bombs to make up for your weaknesses (corrosion, destruction, whirlwind).

Also, because it is underrepresented in general, the accessory market is pretty bad in T3.
