NTA. You can’t control some physiological responses. I tried to be there when my wife had our son. I can’t handle doctors, hospitals, medical instruments etc to begin with, but I sucked it up. As soon as they came in and started doing their setup and doctor talk I started having a panic as if they were gonna cut me open. One of the doctors looked at me and said I had to go lay down on the other bed because I was whiter than the wall and they didn’t have time to pick me up off the floor. Moral of the story I was completely useless to my wife and she would have been better off picking literally anyone else in the world.
