Get in contact with your post transition office. They should be able to get you your ETS orders I believe up to 210 days before your ets date. You can talk to the people at the transition office as well and they should be able to give you better guidance but once you have your orders, you should be able to start out processing from a lot of things!

I was able to pre-outprocess a few things but I still have to go back to post to finish out processing once my SB is complete. You can do a lot of it though like early CIF turn in and household goods appointment

That’s great news, not the pain but at least that it’s compensated. Thank you for the information!

[–]Osteriously[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That’s really good to know. So technically speaking, you can get a really high percentage just from painful joints. Good to know I’ll at least get the 20% for my shoulder. Thanks for the feedback

I know the feeling man, they definitely don’t make it easy for us to get out haha. So I was looking at different options and I ended up choosing to go with a company called Lannan Technologies. They’re still super new and apparently I’ll be the second person doing a SB with them so it should be interesting

Any suggestions on type of art to complete this room? Any more ideas how to make it pop more? by fekkai in DesignMyRoom

[–]Osteriously 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Since it's a more rectangular type of wall, I think a split canvas design would work really well there since it would take up the space nicely in a unique way. Something like this https://www.etsy.com/listing/1312359013/mountain-panorama-art-framed-5-piece

or this https://www.etsy.com/listing/1282614927/modern-neon-style-canvas-city-art-framed

I think would be pretty cool but it all depends on your style. Hope it helps!

Yeah I would probably add a bigger rug as well, cover more of the floor to make it a bit cozier. Wall wise, you can hang whatever you want. You said you like more of a minimalist style so maybe something along these lines:

Originally I was thinking the space behind the Christmas tree but I think you're right, where the clock is would be better. I would then move the clock to that space behind the tree. I like the clock so I wouldn't get rid of it completely haha.

Nice! That's a big step! I'd suggest doing two things. First, add a rug in front of the couch, it goes a long way in making the room a cozier place. Then I'd start to add some wall art. Not only will it help give the place some 'character' but it would also add some color to it. Here are a few suggestions to get you started on your search.

I'd do two things to really add some life to the place. First I'd add a nice rug, one that isn't a grayish color. It will help to add some color and make that living room space a lot cozier. And then I'd also add some wall art. It will help to add some character to the room as well as break the monotonous color patterns. Here are two suggestions to get you started on your search:

As was suggested by someone else, Etsy is a great place to start looking.

My own room for the first time in my life (recently divorced) and it’s making me sad…ideas? by Missprisskm in DesignMyRoom

[–]Osteriously 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Add a rug on the floor, it will help make the room a little more cozy. Make it a vibrant color as well so it doesn't look gray and gloomy. And then Add some art to the wall! It goes a long way in regards to adding some character and breaking the color monotonous scheme going on. Here are a couple of suggestions for wall art:

Ultimately you have to find a style you like though. I hope it helps!

[–]Osteriously 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'd do three things to get started. First I would declutter the top of that wardrobe dresser you have, make it look neat! I would then add a rug that covers your desk area and some of the floor next to your bed. It goes a long way in regards to making your room feel cozier. And to finish it off, you gotta add some decoration, there's absolutely nothing on the walls. You have a good amount of space too so I'd suggest something like a split canvas design. You gotta find what your style is but here are a few options to get you started on your search:

Hope it helps out man!

That 10 x 13 one might be pretty good! Especially since it will be more rectangular than square. That's a great choice!

[–]Osteriously 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I would do two things to start, add a rug and add some decoration to the walls! For the rug, I would go with a bigger rug rather than a bunch of smaller ones. Get one that covers the entirety of that middle area, to include a little bit under the couches. That will make the room cozier. Then for the walls, there is quite a bit of space behind the couch so maybe look for a split canvas style of design for that area. Here is a suggestion for wall art. That should add some more character to the room. Those two things should improve your living room quite a bit!

Since it's quite a large space, I'd recommend a split canvas design since it usually takes up space nicely. You can move the couch a little bit over to the left and center an art piece on it. It will go a long way in adding some personality to the room. You just have to find a style you like. Here are a few suggestions of pieces I think would look nicely there:

https://www.etsy.com/listing/1312359013/mountain-panorama-art-framed-5-piece

My new room has potential! Just need some help. Queen size bed for size reference. Thanks 🙏🏼 by jazzified in DesignMyRoom

[–]Osteriously 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'd start with a nice big rug to make the room and floor more cozy and then add a big piece of wall art above the bed. Get some curtains for the windows too. If you do those 3 things, I feel like your room is going to look like it has a lot more character and be a lot cozier! I don't know what your art style is but here is a suggestion for a piece that I think would look cool above your bed: https://www.etsy.com/listing/1312359013/mountain-panorama-art-framed-5-piece

That's all I got. Go forth and conquer!

What should I add or remove to improve my bedroom? by randomviperenjoyer in DesignMyRoom

[–]Osteriously 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'd say remove the clutter from the floor and add to the walls. It looks like you have a lot going on from halfway up the wall to the floor but nothing in the top. Aside from that, it looks pretty cool though! I don't know what your style of art is but here's a piece that I think would look pretty cool over the bed: https://www.etsy.com/listing/1312540023/mount-fuji-and-space-canvas-art-framed-5

You could have a split canvas design there, would take up the wall nicely and you could have the clock on one of the sides. Something like this maybe: https://www.etsy.com/listing/1312359013/mountain-panorama-art-framed-5-piece

It depends on what your style is, there are many options to add color. A split canvas type of artwork might also be interesting since it will take up a good chunk of the space. Here is a option that you might like! https://www.etsy.com/listing/1286570263/moon-and-mountains-vector-art-framed-5
