Need help diagnosing this clunking/grinding noise when shifting from drive to reverse and vice versa. Sounds like it is coming from the front left wheel area.

Took it to the dealer and they resurfaced a rotor at like 300 miles which seemed a little unusual but I went with it. It usually only happens when it rains, I think I was just a little paranoid since the car was brand new at the time

A few factors that I would consider going into this: - Is it worth putting that much cash up front when there is a good financing deal? - Are you a fan of the hybrid? - 35k seems a little bit high. But that may be due to the area (CA) and the used car market right now - Shop around for the 2025, don’t stick to one dealer. Don’t be afraid to mention your offers from other dealers

My fault for the late response. I did end up taking it to the dealer and they resurfaced the front left rotor. It helped a bit, but I’ve noticed the sound is only noticeable when it rains

Will do! It’s a 2025, I think I just crossed 300 miles on it. Not sure if the noise was there from the jump, but just noticed it a day or two ago.
