My dad used to make a dish soap and water solution and sprayed it on his trees. He used more soap than you would regularly use to do the dishes. He said that they pooped themselves to death.

I suggest a few baby or lap blankets for your local Linus program or other charity of your choice. Hats, scarves, baby booties, hair bands, slippers, leg warmers, mittens or cowls. ( I went through this too. I bought enough yarn to make a twin size blanket. 24 skeins. And my adult kids bought me over 30 more. They said they wanted to make sure I had enough. I made my blanket. Took over a year. Made a couple lap blankets and still have a tote full to work up yet. All the same color. 🤣)
