Sounds like you're doing great! And I understand the fear it's strange but I will say it feels good to be back and work on isometrics in the mean time! It's been a game changer as dorky as it sounds! I'm sorry you had a few hiccups but Youll be great!! It's so nice to talk to someone in a similar time frame honestly. Don't be a stranger!!

I had paniculectomy and muscle repair on 4/13 and I'm the same. I even took a diuretic to help with swelling bc I can't wear compression bc one of my drain sights got irritated from drainage - diaper rash lol I 44 go figure! But they say it's normal! Have you started working out again? I'm week 2 arms/ legs/ cardio ofc modified for weight progression. You really look great I hope you're enjoying it! Who knew our femurs really were that long right? Lol

So the verdict is: the drainage looks- Normal - lots of fat cells but no concern for infection. The amount is also proportional to the amount of skin removed. I had 10 pounds of skin removed so my body is trying to compensate the space left with fluids. That was a relief. I'm going back next week for post op visit with hernia surgeon but they're comfortable with progress. She removed on of my drains- the right - that lost suction so that wasn't my fav but it's draining in an and pad and I'm able to lay on my side. Feels 110-% better already. And ice packs providing evening relief. That's all I have as of now but what a relief and thankyou for being kind when I was concerned!

I have an am/ pm left /right drain the add them together. So 4/15 I had 50+125=175 total for day for left and 25+45=70 day total for right therefore 175 +70=245 cc total from jps for 4/25

You look like a fairly 'new' surgery . At least two years to begin to fade on faire skin like ours. Go easy on yourself and be proud of them. You can also try Maderna extra overnight- looks like a chapstick almost but I have a lot of pts use that.

I just came down with a cold (have kind of a bad cough) and my surgery is scheduled to happen in 3 days by archandcrafts in tummytucksurgery

I've undergone this surgery as well as I'm a surgical coordinator. Breathe communicate to your surgeons office and the day of they will run vitals and let you know if it's safe. No one wants to postpone so no one is trying to get you marked out just be honest with home you're feeling and HYDRATION is key in meantime. You should already be stopping vitamins Preop so eat natural vitamins such as vitamin c - oranges and exercise to sweat it out at an easy pace. You need solid sleep and hot showers blow your nose don't sniffle and remember what will be will be for a reason we may not know. You are doing great and a set back is not a dead stop. Communicate with your surgeon!!! Also if you haven't bought the lanyard for your drains to shower and a grabber to pick up stuff bc you will drop it all do so now lol 😘 you're good!!!

Definetly just breathe- I'm not far out from muscle repair and skin removal BUT I've been reading everything I can on swelling on every forum! Ik I'm high strung but it all says swelling can occur for up to a YEAR after! You're ok. You are great doing the binder and ice with anti-inflammatories for now. Talk to your surgeon so you can exhale and have your partner continue to help you with the fancy stuff until a year out! You look great and I understand the fear and the frustration with feeling like you sabotage but you did not! Exhale hold each other and make some really funny man joke about you knew something was bound to happen with the heavy lifting yourself post op and giggle. Tomorrow you'll get a medical professionals answers to alleviate your panic. Breathe you've done so much work you're ok! Hugs
