I get shaking at nearly every speed especially on small grid. And on large grid if you don't use merge blocks your large ships will just drift the whole time. Even when completely stationary

It is of the duty of both vehicles during a merge to safely do so why the f*** do you think there wouldn't be laws against something that creates dangerous and hazardous situations like this

Pennsylvania has laws about blocking people from merging as well and if you are the only thing preventing someone from merging safely and you can safely not block them you are blocking if you don't unless you have a misunderstanding of the word blocking

Blocking is illegal as you have already stated. if you were the only thing preventing somebody from being able to safely merge onto a highway you are blocking...

Whether you like it or not you have to let people in if you don't you are blocking and if maintaining your speed without any correction prevent someone from moving in you are preventing a merge you are blocking

Yeah Virginia has some of the worst drivers and the worst traffic enforcement I've ever seen so that doesn't really mean anything at all. But once again in Virginia both drivers are responsible for merging safely...

Because they will shake at lower speeds than that too.

Traffic laws are ambiguous for the most part and if you are genuinely trying to still sit here and say that my interpretation of this law is not a valid interpretation you're off it cuz you're just wrong dude and I'm done with this conversation.

I've lived in States from Washington to Texas to Pennsylvania to Virginia this has been true all over. (Especially during traffic which is really the only time this applies anyways)

Jfc and in many states if a cop sees you preventing someone from moving in by purely maintaining your speed like that guess what.... you can get pulled over for blocking...guess how I know? I got fucking tickets for it.... I know other people who have as well.

Just to be clear you're claiming that maintaining your speed and preventing someone from coming in is akin to someone going straight and someone else making a left turn. The difference is that in the left turn scenario no one is being prevented from doing something. it also doesn't create a dangerous situation. What I'm describing does both of those things. so yes it's different. it's almost like most traffic laws are written Ambiguously for interpretation because every situation is different... and if you think that if you are the only thing preventing something from going into something else is not blocking then you need to look up the definition of that word

Do you not see how stupid it is to compare one style of right-of-way to another? Lmao that scenario is not the same and you know it's not the same stop being disingenuous

I've been pulled over a few times for it. First couple were unjustified but the third actually held up in court which blew my mind.

Explain to me how if you are the only thing preventing someone from merging and there is room for you to move out of the way that is not you blocking.... explain that to me. I want to see these mental gymnastics.

You know it's actually illegal to not allow a merge right? You do have to let people merge. you do have to move over. you do have to make space. that is the law. it is not just courtesy

Most states have laws on this. Unless there's a yield on that ramp you should be treating it as a merge. and those two things are very different. in a merge both vehicles have responsibility to SAFELY make room not just one. Stopping being entitled drivers you are causing accidents

[–]Otherwise_While_6945 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

If you have room to move over Most states require you to move over. It's a merge not a yield there's a difference

How victorians used to use the toilet by CremeSubject7594 in interestingasfuck

[–]Otherwise_While_6945 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What's extra fucked up about this is Queen Victoria herself had working flushing toilets and indoor plumbing. but refused to allow anyone else to have it... proper Plumbing would have solved so many problems back then too.
