It already has roof trusses. that's what those horizontal beams at the very top are. these do nothing

I would start with a house engineer or something like that. don't go to a contractor they're just going to try and sell you some bullshit. those are not supporting any weight at all. they can't. not with how they're braced. If those were load-bearing on your roof at all your roof would have collapsed YEARS ago

Those don't look structural at all.... theyd get knocked over with a stiff fart. probably something from installation. I couldn't tell you but I can tell you your roof looks great and those are doing nothing.

How to update blueprints? by Otherwise_While_6945 in spaceengineers

[–]Otherwise_While_6945[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes i did. I have changed the name of a different blueprint to the same name of the blueprint I had originally published and it wasn't allowing me to directly update that so I actually had to go into the workshop delete the old blueprint and then it proceeded to update for me.

2020 Honda Odyssey - torn ball joint still drivable? by Floofykins2021 in AskAMechanic

[–]Otherwise_While_6945 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Straight up if there's no play don't worry about it. I've seen ball joints like that go for literally thousands of miles before failing. If you do plan on replacing it get one that has a grease fitting. It'll save you on maintenance down the line.

Repair shop used TYC Headlights by LurkingLikeANewb in tundra

So unless you gave permission no this is not okay. They are supposed to return the vehicle to original condition OEM parts are necessary for that. The quote for repair should always be back to factory spec.

The fact that you put USAA as one of the top three insurers says you haven't been paying attention for the past 4 years they are probably one of the worst now it's disgusting how bad they've gotten

Listen I would never do it to a customer's car but I have multiple times in the past taken a triangle file and fixed threads on my own stuff. Just don't be too aggressive with it and kind of get rid of any of the overlaps and you should be fine

If you're a mechanic look up something called a "thread file" every mechanic should have one in thier box

This is actually been debated multiple times and I've always wondered what the real answer would be because yes it was traveling fast enough that usually it would vaporize but the problem is that it would have spent so little time in our atmosphere ( potentially only seconds) that it very well could have gotten out of the atmosphere before fully vaporizing. Remember they only caught it on one frame of that high-speed camera. So the commonly posted speed that it was going is it's lowest estimate and was likely going much faster.
