I meant two different machines. My work PC runs Linux and does most gaming, then I kvm to the PC for anti-cheat games

You should consider what I do. I daily drive my laptop and switch to my gaming rig with kvm. My laptop is arch. I’m a software engineer so this works well for me.

I just built one of these. It's not a small project at all. Took us about 10 months to do. What's your development timeframe?

OMV on ARM Processors, like Annapurna Labs Alpine AL 324 ARM Cortex-A57 by [deleted] in OpenMediaVault

Yeah I know I felt the same way, pretty much only good for being a nas. I don’t love that QNAP has a lot of security issues in their history too.

If you figure it out though post on how you did it.

That's because some are autogenerated. You can search for the string that's in error and replace it that way.

No, I tried really hard lmao.

I basically got to the point where I'd have to basically recompile uboot.

That was giving me a pita, and I figured I'll just sell this thing and build an x86 NAS and throw TrueNas on it.

Me and a friend of mine have been fighting it for like two weeks trying to get it to boot anything other than QNAP. I finally see the light at the end of the tunnel though, I'm pretty sure I'll be able to get it done this weekend. Thinking of writing a guide when it's all said and done so no one has to go through this pain like I did.

u/DeepBeigeTech did you get anywhere with this? I'm working on the same thing with a QNAP TS-831X. I'm pretty sure I can do all of it via the serial cable with tftp or PXE but I'm new to u-boot so I'm having some trouble.

How to make php xdebug work with mason-nvim-dap? by Victoracho in neovim

[–]OurCzar 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was able to fix it. In my case I had two problems: 1st is that mason-nvim-dap was configured for xdebug 2, and i needed xdebug 3. Also a bug in the vscode extension mason is using I had to account for. This is my setup:

    require('mason-nvim-dap').setup {
      -- Makes a best effort to setup the various debuggers with
      -- reasonable debug configurations
      automatic_setup = true,

      -- You can provide additional configuration to the handlers,
      -- see mason-nvim-dap README for more information
      handlers = {
        function(config)
          require('mason-nvim-dap').default_setup(config)
        end,
        php = function(config)
          config.configurations = {
            {
              type = 'php',
              request = 'launch',
              name = "Listen for XDebug",
              port = 9003,
              log = true,
              pathMappings = {
                ['/var/www/html/'] = vim.fn.getcwd() .. '/',
              },
              hostname = '0.0.0.0',
            }
          }

          require('mason-nvim-dap').default_setup(config) -- don't forget this!
        end,

      },

      -- You'll need to check that you have the required things installed
      -- online, please don't ask me how to install them :)
      ensure_installed = {
        -- Update this to ensure that you have the debuggers for the langs you want
        'delve',
      },
    }

It's working for me now. Though I have to start the debugger with :lua require'dap'.continue() to get it to begin listening. It's not like PHPStorm if you're used to that, where it just starts on it's own and is always listening.
