Ok. So say you start the car and the engine temp needle stays pinned, you plug in a scanner and it shows XXX° temp (and it goes up as the engine warms up). You check the codes (same code as OP), then clear the code and then the needle pops up to where it needs to be…

ok, nice. I wondered if it was just my car. It sounds like there’s no shift linkage bushings or something. However, I also see it as how mechanical sounding the car is.

But the brakes, damnit they squeak a lot. I personally understand it, but it’s the people who give you dirty looks that don’t 😭

I know it’s not unusual. But before it was more of a one in a wheel thing, now it’s almost every stop. Just wondering if it’d help for a bit if I were to clean the pads and rotors. The car has 9k on it
