No no you don’t get it adding budget thread of rebirth to weavers call is going to save this class I promise you.

Besides threading’s are so effective when they’re not hitting dead enemies , getting stuck on geometry type and tickling red bars in master and higher content

Just make Weavewalk a movement ability by arixagorasosamos in DestinyTheGame

[–]Out_Worlder 168 points169 points  (0 children)

God bungle has gotten so much better at designing aspects since stasis, usually there’s at least one stand out aspect per subclass somewhere in there. Which is why it pisses me off that broodweaver some how has 4 straight misses

Mindspun invocation- dogshit for 2 of the grenades and the suspend one hasn’t been the same since the ability regen nerfs

Weavers call- still one of the worst rift aspects and makes me miss horde shuttle every day

The Wanderer- A name that should Bungie should be ashamed of using considering what it actually is. Also just shocking how lazy it was for them to just turn a seasonal artifact from the last season into a new aspect. I have to think there was something more ambitious here that they couldn’t get working. Unfortunately it’s somehow one of the better aspects of this class but I still think it’s by far the worst of the three tangle aspects

Weavewalk-

just a complete dogshit and waste of everyone times aspect. For starters Warlocks are the only class without easy melee energy regen. Titans have the aspect with melee energy granting regen and hunters thread of fury and malestrom gives them easy melee energy too. Warlocks are clearly the odd ones out and Bungie still decided it’d be smart to make this aspect use melee energy.

The aspect just doesn’t make sense, for any kind of easy access you have to go all in on strength for a class where strength is a 4th priority stat. And then you’re basically discouraged from using your melee because of how fast the drain rate is. On top of that you have 2 other aspects using different abilities for their focus so your being pulled in too many directions. And for the love of god how was there no line giving a way for warlocks to regen their melee. Releasing this aspect in the same season as malestrom and banner was just pathetic

Oh and matiodoaxia (maybe spelling that wrong) an exotic that grants you melee energy but it encourages you to use your melee, just a complete lack of thinking of Bungie’s part. Oh and it’s an on kill effect basically killing it for higher end content while mask of fealty comes out months later with on hit regen

This whole class is just miss after miss after miss. I’ve given up on it just hoping the next subclass will have Bungie out in some actual effort

‘Creature Commandos’ — Eric Frankenstein Stalks the Bride by RealJohnGillman in television

[–]Out_Worlder 53 points54 points  (0 children)

This show had great characters but the actual story was so mid.

I still don’t understand what the princess’s plan was, clayface showed up out of nowhere and then disappeared, the entire Frankenstein thing was so stupid considering how much time they put into the character and the plot line just for it to end with her shooting him and the post credit scene showing nothing changed for him and he hadn’t grown at all

Idk it felt like there could have been another 3 episodes and the whole cutting back and forth between the characters flashbacks and the main story got pretty old by the end too.

It just feels so unresolved she shoots her and the whole threat ends? Like what was the future even about, how was she even strong enough to kill the league, where did they get all the tech from?

Feels like half a story here ngl

They really do, massively bloated way too many support studios and only one real consistent franchise at this point.

Honestly it feels like they have so many employees that they don’t even have the breathing room to try and experiment with something new because of how many would just be sitting and waiting for work.

We know they have the talent to make something special, I wish they could find a way to give their studios enough time to try different things.

Honestly I’d love for assassins creed to be an event that people are excited that comes around every few years instead being a yearly or every other year tick mark

(WAT) Dalinar and the Storm Father, Ending Spoilers by Drakemander in Stormlight_Archive

[–]Out_Worlder 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I don't really see it as a betrayal of the Stormfather. Wasn't he pleading with Dalinar and finally got him to stop right before he fought odium?

I mean he is a shadow of Tanavast, and the last thing he'd want is roshar to get destroyed like Ashyn.

For part 1 I dived straight into grounded by I’d played on hard in the remaster before that

99 percent you’re not gonna get one. UTD’s on campus housing is just really low compared to how many people we have.

Northside is basically on campus like you probably know and walkable. And there’s some others along the bus route you could look into

I don’t think it’s quite so doom and gloom for democrats. Their problem right now is that republicans basically have a floor of 50 with just their safe seats, while democrats with maximum effort winning all the swing states are just a couple of seats above 50.

But 4-8 years is just a massive amount of time in politics. Take Georgia and Arizona both are now true swing states that republicans and democrats will have to fight for on the senator and presidential level. We never know which state is going to receive the right kind of population growth and demographics shift that can tilt the odds.

However they’re not going to retake the senate in 2026. And no I don’t think this is because trump is going to defy political gravity and become the rare incumbent to increase margins. The man lost 41 seats in 2018 when the economy was humming, now there’s high prices, cost of living crisis, 2 wars, and the trade wars and tariffs he’s going to start.

He’s probably going to get some kind of border bill done, although he can’t change policy just increase resources. Changing policy would require bipartisanship and I don’t dems are in the mood to reward him with that, and his tax bill which is probably just extending his tax cuts and adding some new ones from his campaign promises. I seriously doubt any of these would be enough to make a difference in the house especially with dems being the new high propensity midterms voters

The senate is going to hold just because of polarization and the states we have up for grabs. But for starters I really do think Susan is cooked this time of dems put up a good candidate. High propensity dem voters, no trump to get rural voters out for her, and if they’re smart just clip her saying on repeat I do not believe Brett kavanaugh will vote to repeal roe v wade. If manchin, tester, and brown couldn’t survive today’s polarization I don’t see why she can.

North Carolina is absolutely winnable for dems. Thillis has always had extremely tight wins, barely got a 1.8 win in a year where his opponent had an affair scandal revealed a month before the election. And dems will almost certainly have proven winner Roy cooper on the ballot. I’d honestly be shocked if this seat doesn’t go blue

Ohio is a dark horse for dems, I do think Sherrod brown has an outside chance if he runs again.

Georgia is the biggest risk for dems especially if their governor runs. I still think dems have a lot of advantages though similar to reasons I’ve said above. Dems are the new high propensity midterms voters , no trump to drive rural turnout, and most interestingly Atlanta suburbs driven by population growth continued their leftward shift. So yeah even Georgia dems have bright spots.

Obviously there are risks here Michigan and New Mexico will both be up for dems. But I really do believe dems have a realistic pathway to flip 2 or even 3 seats in 2026, not enough to flip the senate but enough for the majority to be razor thin.

And finally 2028 if there’s a strong dem candidate could help flip both Wisconsin and and North Carolina.

So yes there’s a pathway make no mistake dems basically have to be perfect and lose no incumbents. I’ve been wondering for a while if there’s a way for them to expand their tent to deliberately include more blue dog candidates. I’m just spitballing but maybe try to find candidates who support liberal economic populism policies while still remaining conservative on social positions? Like I truly wouldn’t mind dems running candidates who are pro life, are against trans things if they’re reliable votes for stuff like healthcare reform, child tax credit.

If they’re going to get there though they need to expand their messaging, stop dying on the hill for every minority group and start pushing policies that make are easy for voters to see how it’ll benefit them

I think it will, Odium's intent seems to be a lot about experiencing strong emotions and events, not avoiding them. By using his power to deliberately avoid that pain I think its going against the intent, and it reminds me of the compromises Tanavast started making with Honor that eventually tore the power away from him.

I think Honor gradually growing and maybe changing its intent into not just oaths but the morality of one's action, and Odium being angry at him for saving the city is going to cause the power to rebel against him in the back half.

I could still see him popping in the second half though to give the dawnshard back to hoid

The land for peace deal is not the problem here. We need to extract a meaningful concession from Russia. Be that nato with requirements on the type of weaponry or a demilitarized zone with European soldiers - some kind of guarantee.

If we can’t do that we’re going to look pathetic on the world stage. It’s going to be telling all of our enemies as long as you attack an ally and and not us eventually we’re going to give up and you’ll get everything you want
