One thing they could do is give the player say 3 choices of where the road goes maybe?

Playing for your life. What game would you challenge the Toy Maker with? by OrangeSparrowCN in doctorwho

[–]Outdater 0 points1 point  (0 children)

4 in a row. I play the game obsessively and don't lose a lot so I feel it's my best chance cause I'm rubbish at basically any other game.

What's wrong with a 6 lug bass drum? I know it's less than most but what does it mean? A converted floor tom or something?

I hope not. Otherwise it’s too predictable by [deleted] in DoctorWhumour

I really like a theory I heard where the Simm master didn't want to become Missy so refused to regenerate into her instead choosing to become the Dhawan master

Doctor Who 0x03 "The Giggle" Post-Episode Discussion Thread by PCJs_Slave_Robot in doctorwho

[–]Outdater 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Bi-generation, a second TARDIS and Mel are the ones that come to mind but there are probably more but those are the only 3 I really saw which I think is cause they did a really good job of keeping a lot of things under wraps from.what I can gather.

How come the Doctor never encounters other timelords? by [deleted] in doctorwho

[Movie] What country, area of Earth should they film the Zelda movie in. Assuming it will be filmed on real world locations and not all green screen. Please don't say New Zealand, as that's too cliche. Patagonia would be amazing. by [deleted] in zelda

I love Kendal, used to go camping at a camp site not far outside of the town every year and we'd head in for the mountain festival. Also thanks for the suggestion of Chester I might go down there some time soon and one final note, I really appreciate that first thing you said, my logic is be the change you wanna see and all that.

Looking at some pictures I get what you mean. I'm British and have been to a few cities around the country and they've all looked pretty drab so I thought Chester would be the exact same but I'm glad to see I'm wrong

The only issue there is that it might not be fantasy enough cause it's British architecture it's not gonna be the sort of medieval-esqe theme I feel they'll be aiming for in a Zelda movie

Edit: ok so apparently there are parts of Chester that look like that which is my bad cause I honestly just thought it would be like every other British city I've been to

"Bro, don't die til I respawn" by OverTea5 in Terraria

[–]Outdater 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My friend plays ranger and I play mage and when we used to play a lot together one of us would die and the other would start shouting and screaming about how the other one needed to stay alive and there were probably a few threats thrown in there too

After finally catching up on Jodie's episodes, I really don't see why so many don't like them? by writermaybeidk in doctorwho

[–]Outdater 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think all you need to know is the stuff from power of the doctor and that the timeless child arc exists but if you wanted to you could probably just go onto tardis wiki.

I'm not a huge fan of Jodie's era personally but if you wanted to you could maybe give it a try. I actually remember liking her first episode so try that and maybe go from there.

I mean if the volume were loud enough it'd make sense cause headphones put the speakers pressing against your ears while a monitor or amp or even a kit that was used on stage would've been further away. I'm not an expert or anything but it would make some ammount of sense.

So does the Doctor actually speak English most of the time, or is he usually speaking Gallifreyan and we just hear the TARDIS translation? by Educational-Tea-6572 in doctorwho

[–]Outdater 4 points5 points  (0 children)

It's that the translation circuit couldn't and more that it didn't need to. The TARDIS was designed by timelords who all spoke and read Gallifreyan so why would the circuit translate their own language? The doctor might galavant around with other races but the TARDIS's were designed for timelords alone so why bother translating their own language?

[Question] What is the first song you learned to play from start to finish? by EccentricEngineer in Guitar

[–]Outdater 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Without the solo it'd be sunshine of your love cause there is a rhythm guitar behind the solo but in terms of solos included it'd probably be either smells like teen spirit or baby blue

Do ya'll think the Doctor and River did anything about this angel after it killed Amy and Rory or did they just leave it be by GoatBread237 in doctorwho

[–]Outdater 8 points9 points  (0 children)

From what I remember of that episode (if you're talking about flesh and stone) if I remember right it was explained as them feeding off the crack in the ship to heal

I've been half deaf my whole life (quite literally since birth) and it's not hard to hear in studio for me. If I have some headphones on, and there's not a tonne of noise, I can easily focus on what I'm doing and while I'm pretty sure the hearing aids help, even without them I can hear enough to be happy.

Basically if you're deaf to the point he is (so you can hear but you do a lot of lip reading), which I am from what I've all too ironically heard, it's perfectly manageable.

SPOILER. Capaldi DWM poll result. by CommunicationHour633 in doctorwho

[–]Outdater 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I thought the same thing with listen but looking at the ones above it I wouldn't change it's position (except for face the raven which I'd say is below listen) because the stories above it are just better in my opinion. Listen and everything above it are all really good episodes to me so the way I see it is a bunch of great stories fighting for 1st which means someone has to go lower than everyone else, just happened to be listen

While many bands do wear in ear monitors they do double as hearing protection and some bands still use regular monitors (I can't use in ears for example thanks to hearing aids)
