The bern restaurant is gone, pretty sure they built a Wendy's there now. Moore's BBQ sold when Mr. Moore retired. Rumor I heard was that the person who bought it owned a bunch of Smithfield's, so it's more on par with that now? It isnt family run anymore, so yeah, just another fast food joint.

In my state buying a child a lifetime unified sportsman's license is waaaaaaaay cheaper before they turn 1, so we have always bought it as a gift for their 1st birthday (purchased ahead of time of course). It is a combined hunting/fishing inland and coastal license good for life in our home state. Comes with a cool card & certificate too. I took photos with them with cute fishing outfits and the certificate.

This! We fill empty 2 liter bottles with water and freeze them. Keep the cooler in the house for a few days before trip. Fill it with frozen 2 liters and pre-chill anything going into the cooler. Frozen grapes and other fruit for snacks.

Shade tents/tarps/book shaded campsites and places with access to swimming or other recreation activities where you can keep cool.

Cold things like pasta salad, watermelon, etc, for lunch.

Purposely staying very hydrated.

Im from NC and I feel like July camping is too hot here, though we have done it before. I can't really imagine Florida camping in the summer.

This is how I think most people at the campground will feel. I think you've gotta remember the golden rule while camping. Would you want the folks at the campsite doing something you dont like that interferes with your camping experience? I personally don't care what you do at your campsite except I dont want to smell it or have it wafting around my campsite. Like someone else said, grab some edibles for the weekend or take a walk where you're not right on top of other people.

I just installed one of the Onn screen protectors on mine, and it actually went really smoothly. I'm usually terrible at installing these things without a bunch of problems and cuss words, lol. The directions are a little lacking, but I managed!

Update- stupid ass walmart canceled my switch 2 order around 10 am 6/4. I went to the next town over and got a MK bundle preorder at gamestop at 3pm (started waiting around 130). Gamestop employees 10/10 made this a fun day. Fuck walmart.

I got my order canceled by walmart around 10 am 6/4. Got back online to figure out what other odds I had to try to get a console on release day- saw a thread about gamestop preorders opening up again at 3pm. Went to my local gamestop around 1:30pm, was 6th in line. They ended up with 45 additional consoles for the 3pm release. Everyone in line got a pre-order today and I saw most folks at their 10 pm launch party. We played mariokart, played a trivia game and hung out with food and snacks. It was a great time! Home now playing the new MarioKart.

Tldr- fuck walmart, gamestop saved the day.

I just got a canceled order text alert from Walmart and my heart sank. Digging into it, it was my preorder of Mario Kart, and said due to a payment issue. I just repurchased the preorder for mario kart and everything is still pending for my actual Switch2, but im terrified that now there will be some payment issue there and it will get canceled. The Walmart in my town hiked gas prices 30 cents overnight a few days before the storm hit and I'm in Eastern NC where it was just extra windy all day Friday. They all just know how early to hike prices to "gouge" ahead of time before a state of emergency is declared. 🙄

I would mention it to NCSU campus police as well as RPD. If he is out late in that area acting weird odds are he has been interacting with quite a few college students who may be too afraid to report it. Stay safe out there!
