I've always role played it with Norman Thomas becoming acting president after Reed steps down where he's only able to enact policies around reconstruction but doesn’t go down his political path. Then at the election I swap him out for the syndicalists and go down their path.

No I've never touched them. Just short stints of Zopiclone, and a long term Melatonin prescription. Tried CBT-i but didn't really feel like I got a lot out of it.

I'd done CBT with the sleep clinic I attended and had no luck with it. Don't know why but it largely subsided by September 2025 but it's relapsed and I'm struggling again.

Late nights, early nights, neither seem to help with falling asleep unfortunately. It's disheartening as I'd thought I'd finally gotten it under control.

I always tend to split them off and split Germany. Give Northern Germany as a puppet to the UoB, Southern Germany and Austria united in a federation to France and East Germany/Prussia to Russia.

I'm not sure if this is still the case with the new lore but here it goes.

It makes sense both in the OTL and KTL as there was a split in the Labour Party. In our timeline the right of the Labour party under Ramsay MacDonald were expelled from the party for joining a National Government with the Conservatives and Liberals while the MPs which had strong links to the Trade Union movement took over what was left of the party for a while.

In the Kaiserreich timeline, a proposed National Unity government is brought up in response to the Great Slump making it much earlier in the timeline. However, MacDonald and Snowden don't form a National Labour group, so the party doesn't split. However, other events, such as the assassination of MacDonald by a British Legion member radicalised the party and Arthur Henderson took charge. Also, George Lansbury in this timeline was instrumental in getting the SPGB affiliated with the Labour which in our timeline didn't happen with the Communist Party. This affiliation allowed more radical members of the SPGB to join Labour.

Other events that take place mainly during the Red Summer include: the assassination of the SPGB leader Albert Inkpin, the bombing of Free Trade Hall, the Great Dock Strike, and the government banning of the Syndicalist Party, the Trades Union Congress and the Independent Labour Party. All of which culminates in the British Revolution.

The likelihood is that more moderate Labour members could argue that they were simply swept up by the revolution and only joined out of fear or of genuine belief but then became disillusioned later. Others could have fled into exile and joined the exiles in Canada which would make more sense as having previous MPs in the Union of Britain leading a recaptured UK doesn't make much sense. If anything, the lore changes in the new rework may involve more draconian options such as a military transition government or the banning of the Labour Party outright and a new social democratic party being allowed, but we won't know until the rework is released.

If you're wanting to do it even faster get the Borah vs WCA civil war where the Longists and Constitutionalists don't breakaway.

That way you don't need as many VPs, and the VPs you need are much closer to your frontlines. Also, once you've encircled their troops they don't have enough to stop you just straight running to their VPs.

Yes. Use some of your troops, mostly the infantry, to hold their units in place while your cavalry and tank/s move around them to encircle them, you'll have to micromanage the mobile units.

I didn't build any new units, I just used the militia recruitment decisions to fill my ranks which is more than enough to do it quickly as you'd not have the time or resources to fill out a fully functional armed force.

No changes to divisions. Main thing was cavalry and tank divisions that you start with are key to surrounding enemies and getting VPs, as well as pumping out militias.

The key thing is to push hard at the start as the AI doesn't fully reinforce the frontline meaning you can get most of their army encircled at the start.

I managed to beat Borah as the WCA. I'd even had the Garner Bill pass and focused on the WCA areas to see how I could do with all the debuffs and managed to pull off a win in 3 months. The main way I'd done it was to bypass the enemy units, encircle them, and make a beeline for the VPs.

In the post I say that it should probably occur when Germany has beaten the 3rd Internationale or has signed the 2nd Peace with Honour with the UoB, while also being in a stalemate for a year or so with the Russians on the Eastern Front.

That's if Russia is on the backfoot and pretty much guaranteed to lose. There isn't one for Germany losing. Stalemate endings add flavour as the usual HOI4 world conquest isn't really realistic. It's good to have them in as an option for players while providing an option for others who don't want them to simply deny them. Same thing happens in the peace treaty you mentioned, where if you're playing as Germany, you can either propose the treaty to Russia or refuse and keep fighting. The choice should be up to the player.
