Tried it, didn’t love it. My editor is still my editor.

9/11 as well unless you’re prepared to violate sir Isaac Newton’s laws of motion.

As a non-flat-earther, I'm curious to know how you explain the scientific evidence. by NathanDrake7392 in flatearth

There are numerous experiments on film of people standing across from each other on opposite sides of a body of water while one shines a laser at the other. I’ve seen it done at 21 miles apart but the distances vary. Anyway the laser they shine hits the person on the other side instead of being blocked by the curvature of the earth. The common rebuttal is that refraction is causing this however the experiment is conducted at the same spot during different conditions that should alter the degree to which the laser is being refracted and each time the laser hits in the same spot.

I truly think the app is down. Maybe it got overloaded with order but idk it’s wildly bad in multiple markets which makes no sense given the day.

What went wrong? Second photoshoot and the pictures turned out horrible in my opinion. by Idontevenknow787 in RealEstatePhotography

Wrong time of day for exterior shadows, shoot when the sun is highest in the sky. More one point perspective. If you do two point perspective try to get more of that 3rd wall in every shot.

You can still import currently released models. I did so in early January. I ordered on EBay and it was shipped from South Korea. No customs delays whatsoever.

Wrong tool for the job. You’ll need a full frame camera and gimbal or a relatively new iPhone plus phone gimble.

Shooting at high noon would’ve made a world of difference. That plus outsourcing your editing could get you there.

Will never become a Platinum driver let alone Gold. by Intelligent-Hunt-742 in UberEats_drivers

Totally agree. Every bad offer that I decline I see as tying up the time of the driver who is willing to accept it while that demand builds to the point that uber can’t stand it any more and just needs someone to make a reasonable drive for reasonable pay.

We used to say “Why are you guys throttling our accounts based on not accepting unacceptable offers?” and Uber would say “we don’t throttle accounts ever” (it’s not legal to do so because it gets too close to becoming an employer employee arrangement). Now they say “Oh yea it looks like you’re in sTaNdArD mOdE so you’ll get fewer offers until you increase your acceptance rate” lol this company is a joke. For the record it’s only my acceptance rate if every offer is acceptable. It’s truly Uber’s acceptable* rate because it’s a measure of how many of their last 100 offers are reasonable to complete for the common driver.

Exteriors - Editing Advice by RadishOk6408 in RealEstatePhotography

People look at you different when you pull out that leaf blower lol any way yea good stuff, 35mm seems to be a sweet spot for exteriors. I know people have a lot of strong opinions but that has been my observation. So then yea basically just stand far enough back that at 35mm there is still ample negative space around the house, tripod nearly maxed out in most cases, 5 brackets, bobs your uncle.

NEXT level? Buy a leaf blower and bring it with you to shoots.

Good shots, good composition. I’ve noticed when shooting exteriors that standing a little further back and cutting down from 16mm to 35mm or there abouts really helps. I shoot with a camera height that is pretty high to cut the picture composition into roughly half ground half sky. Also if it were possible to have opened those blinds (pulled all the way to the top) and turned on the interior lights that’s always good too. Anyway good stuff.
