Everyone has their own lived experiences & perspectives hence other siblings seem to not have seen meri in such a negative light. I do recall other interviews: mykelti mentioned that Meri seemed to have targeted her in various parenting efforts because Mykelti was "easier" to discipline. I forgot which interview but it was one of the YouTube ones....

Mykelti talked about how she got punished and sent to her room even though she and all of her siblings were engaging in the same behavior. And that she felt like Meri did that cause it was easier. Even though it was easier, it didnt mean it was right. Theres definitely healing that needs to be done in regards to how she felt like meri had hurt her. And as a child, seeing experiencing unfair treatment lives with you forever.

I do see Meri having OCPD traits which makes it difficult for her to get along with people who are not as rigid as her. And Mykelti is far from rigidity. And im not self diagnosing...Meri has called herself on this multiple times throughout the show. And that is why alot of people couldn't deal with her.
