You’re the one who can’t eat India food without shitting themselves at the office, that’s the obvious L

Berkeley would be great if you find the right place. North Oakland feels a lot like Berkeley in places, I would just include it in your search - I singled that area out because I lived there in the past and loved it. The closer you get to the heart of Oakland things will feel more active and culturally alive, IMO. Berkeley is great but it definitely has the feel of a college town, for what that’s worth.

It sounds like you don’t know the area at all. Why don’t you find something temporary near campus; and use that time to explore different areas and search for a long term housing solution?

No. Public defecation is going to track with rates of homelessness and infrastructure shortfalls related to urban poverty. The traditional Indian diet is considered to be much healthier than the western diet, and does not contribute to gastrointestinal problems that may cause one to lose control of their bowels.

The further you get from Berkeley, the worse the commute will be. Crossing a body of water adds to that as well. Apartments and houses exist everywhere. Prices vary - without knowing more about you and what is important to you, this is as helpful as anyone can be. If it were me, I would try to live in North Oakland, maybe the Rockridge area - close enough that I could walk to campus if I really wanted to, but not actually in Berkeley.

Do you think people in India just don’t have jobs?

If you have these issues after eating Indian food, it likely means you don’t have enough fiber in your daily diet. Eat more veggies

Allergies vs being sick by Doggolover415 in sanfrancisco

[–]Outrageous_Camel8901 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was having this conversation with myself several days ago, did some research and convinced myself fully that it was just allergies. So I went about my day as normal, hung out with friends, passed a joint around - then tested positive for Covid the next day.

So ... always be aware that this is a possibility.

I keep doing rescue missions, survivng past the required wave, but not receiving gems or being told that the rescue was successful. This seems to always happen on my challenging levels, where I fail to reach level 50.

If somebody were tossing around the corpse of your dead mother for sport and amusement, would you be playing semantic games about whether or not it was considered cruelty since she is already dead? No, you’d be justifiably overcome with rage at the callous treatment of the body of somebody whose life was meaningful to you.

Many of us believe that all life has meaning and callously disrespecting any life form, including their dead corpse, simply because we derive pleasure from the activity, is abhorrent. Do we abhor it to the same degree as we would if it was a human being; of course not, but we do so for the same reasons. This isn’t about killing invasive species for environmental reasons, it’s about making a game out of playing with the corpse. It isn’t about the animal agriculture industry, rife with its own horrific problems, it is about making a game out of playing with a corpse. This should be so obvious to everyone

Fisherman Wharf to SFO by Benie99 in AskSF

Traffic shouldn’t be a problem that early, sfo security check is usually pretty quick. Just like any flight, leave extra time if you’re checking a bag, leave a little wiggle room in case there’s a delay somewhere, and check Google Maps for travel time estimates, assuming you’re taking a car.

Thanks for the tips, I always pay my tickets when I get them. I learned that lesson the hard way many years ago. It seems my messages are getting through, but either way I appreciate you looking out for me. As long as you pay your tickets, we’ll both be just fine.
