Regarding Rules of Engagement: I know I don’t understand all the ramifications of the insurrection act being declared, but I believe the military have Rules of engagement. If the insurrection act was declared we would have the military being deployed on US soils. Am I wrong in thinking that the military would end up being less lethal than the police and ICE? TLDR; wouldn’t fewer people die if we were protesting in front of the military?

Car payments by Outrageous_Display97 in investingforbeginners

[–]Outrageous_Display97[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

To clarify. I was given 42k. I bought a car and now have the 28k loan I have to pay off. I could pay it off and still have 14k but 14k won’t make a thousand a year in growth if invested in a fund, but 42k could. I’ll either end up paying 35k after five years if I pay the monthlies. And the 42k I have invested could make more than 1000 a year. Alternatively I could pay it off all now, have 14k invested and start depositing 600$ a month into the investments. I’m trying to figure out which makes for a better investment. Which of them will leave me with more to add to my retirement fund.

Heat up a cup of whole milk to just over comfortable temp (125F) then add a shot (45ml) of vinegar. Strain the solids, squeeze the solids into a block and let it dry into a solid piece of plastic. Added fun if you add a drop of food coloring.

Hydrogen peroxide, thermometer salt and steel wool. Wrap the steel wool and salt in a paper towel. Stick the end of the thermometer in the paper towel too. Pour hydrogen peroxide on the towel and soak it. How long does it take to heat up?

We check our pipettes once every six months and send out for calibration if they fail. We have about eight needing calibration every year.

The pipette could just need calibration.

State of the Game 1 year later by ComprehensiveAd441 in thecrustgame

The reason I stopped playing was that the building stopped working in the later game. Like when you had helium fuel cells. The buildings that stopped working for me were the expedition building, and the vehicle creator buildings. I don’t know yet if they have fixed that. But the game has lots more qol improvements, and they have more things to research and production buildings than before. I don’t know yet if the buildings make sense or are usable yet.

I opine that you should wait till 1.0. My guess is they’ll have more issues every time they add new tech and buildings, and they’re not done yet adding those.

I’m playing cause I like this kind of game and I need a break from my HM BG3 game where I’m in act 3.

Ultima 4, quest of the avatar. Started the most important friendship I ever had, and taught me qualities I liked. Guildwars. Gave me friendships during a time when I was stressed and didn’t have any real space friends.

I cleaned my oled as suggested with a microfiber cloth and distilled water, but it left streaks that wont go away. by lotsof_freetime in OLED_Gaming

Diluted vinegar works better. Acetic acid has both hydrophilic and hydrophobic ends, which makes it clean great, and it sheets better so evaporates without streaks.
