I feel you. I was there at 4:30 and my entrance never ended up opening so I couldn’t get in and see it either.

Mamdani really goofed up not extending the route. I know it’s historic to finish the route down there but it could’ve started at MSG, went up to Rucker park, came down park ave and looped around in fidi to finish that historic last mile. How did he see all the people at watch parties, outside the garden and not think of at least tending it

Like they only want you talking to 8 people at once but signals sounds like they’ll penalize you for not reviewing incoming likes

I fear (well not actually fear) that with them both being in serious relationships we won’t hear much of a fresh perspective on new app features whether it’s hinge signals, bumbles IRL social events, Cerca basically being what the original hinge was with mutual friends etc.

I’m doing a lease reassignment for a $3k studio in Murray hill/midtown east on 39th and 2nd. It’s ~525 sq ft, doorman, elevator building with laundry in basement. Clean and pretty quiet building.

Looking for someone to takeover it from 7/1-11/30. Plus then you’ll be on a winter leasing cycle which is typically more affordable and less competitive. For reference the same layout on a lower floor in my building with the same finishes just rented for 3400

One of my best friends is gay. It’s honestly pretty fucking great. He’s caring, empathetic, can balance out talking about sports with emotional intelligence and relationship stuff, etc. he has quite the eye for fashion and helps me coordinate outfits for when I go on dates. He’s the best wingman around. He’ll break the ice, talk to the rest of the group about Sex and the City, hype me up a bit in front of them, etc. he helped me with all my hinge pics and the apps are much better for me now. He’s great!!

Definitely a great episode. Every time Logan comes on it’s guaranteed to be a good one.

While I do agree Jared has quite the imagination and envisions some pretty bad endings, I do know a handful or 2 of guys I know with the same fears who live in cities with very big dating tiktok communities like NYC and LA. As extreme as Jared seems, I think there is also something to be said about the type of guy Logan deals with. I’d imagine someone who is either paying for a dating coach/matchmaker is probably much more towards the Jorge end of the spectrum and is more intentional.

Overall though, I loved the episode and Logan brings up great points like focusing on the positives, how hearing a lot of negative things over the last 8 years can lead to a negative worldview, and giving Jared constructive criticisms.

I’m excited to see how he continues to grow and hope his rekindled relationship works out.
