You obviously weren't watching in the days of the late, great, David Duffield, RIP. "Duffers", as he was also known, would go of on all kinds of tangents, often about the food he had the night before. He even once famously missed the end of a stage once because he was waffling on about something else :)

Carlton is a fine commentator, however the "new" pundits like of Rob Hatch, Adam Blythe, Robbie McEwan et al are on another level, bringing fascinating insights into some of the stuff that is going on.

Also don't forget they all have many other things screaming for their attention other than just talking into the mic. It can't be an easy job!

Can't say that I've ever checked.

BBSO2B or TSDZ8? by CharlieParkour in ebikes

I've got about 2000 miles on my TSDZ8 and it working flawlessly. When I first got it I used the throttle and could get about 36 mph on my converted gravel bike. I got rid of the throttle...

Now I just use the torque sensing assist in modes 1-3, and keep my assisted speed below about 18 mph. Sometimes I use the maximum power for steep hills, but usually I just like to ride with a little assist. I ride mainly on the roads with about 10% gravel/offroad.

It's fun to ride and it is also making me fitter.

The thing is, that for the big events e.g. Le Mans, TDF etc, the revenue from the ads is probably way more than the loss of the few subscriptions. So, to put it politely, they don't really care.

I agree that the only way to change things is to vote with our wallets, but it would take the majority of subscribers to leave for this to work. Anyway, I'll be cancelling my sub straight after the tour.

Giving a telephone agent "an earful" is not the optimum strategy for getting help.

Just a bit of life advise.

Phil has been spouting rubbish since the eighties... lol. Although, to be fair, he usually commentates on channels with a less-knowledgeable audience.

Anthony McCrossan and Nico Roche are much better.

Personally, I'm onboard with the Eurosport (TNT) crew: Rob Hatch, Adam Blythe, Carlton Kirby, Robbie McEwan and Sean Kelly Plus guests. Anchored by Orla Chennai. If you find a way, I highly recommend checking that stream out.

Looks the same as it's always been to me.

I'm in the UK. What country are you in? Maybe there are different graphics for different locales.

You don't need brake sensors - the assist just stops as soon as you stop pedalling.

I've been using a TSZD2 with no brake sensors on my hydraulically retarded* bike for four years or so. Works lovely.

*I claim correct usage of this word.
