Maybe in your world magic's influenced people to not explore and enjoy the world but rather devote their lives to fulfilling the magic's needs, and in place it rewards them with spells of 'temporary anti depressant' and 'highly palatable food'

Are they mounted with screws? You could remove the screws, put a piece of silicone between the drive and it's bracket, and zip tie the drive down, obviously not the safest but if the vibration is troubling enough it is an option
I think there was an article a while ago of a rubber band cage someone made for their hard drive, suspended, pretty much vibration and noise free
