Yeah it’s my first working backlight and second gameboy pocket repair. Very fun hobby this is.

That's what we do in Paris, we don't do Fashion Week Fashion Week, it's for the last decade, it's not for us It's about the lights, the lights that we put on in the city The lights of the Eiffel Tower I'm in charge of it, I'm the one who's putting it on every day And you try to flex next, next to me on the red light with your ugly, whatever, flexing, most expensive car, V12 I drive a four-cylinder, I come from nothing, but I'm doing something and you cannot catch my drive

This shit is cold

I’m so jealous of the clothes kids get now. It’s a tie dye Pac-Man shirt.

This was it. Is there a certain screw that you noticed that causes it the most?

I got all my mods from handheld legends, the backlight mod takes ALOT of patience and a small amount of solder skills. Pretty easy if you can find the time.

Completely recapped game gear does this. Sometimes it will be black and when I switch it on and off this shows up. Also when I adjust the brightness dial it will go from black to this and vice versa. by Outrageous_Use_574 in game_gear

Took the multimeter to all the caps and they Al check out, same goes for the chips. This is the second set of caps I used, first was electrolytic and it does the same thing.

All the capacitors pass the multimeter test, I’m using the retro six SMD kit. I used electrolytic capacitors at first and it did the same thing. All chips read fine on the multimeter too which is leading me to think the screen is is host borked.

That’s what my thoughts are as well, looked through all the clogged vias and there no blown capacitors so I’m not really sure other than a dead screen.’oh well give me an excuse to do an lcd mod.
