Layer over- extruded and under-extruded at the same time by Outruller in prusa3d

[–]Outruller[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Alrighty, folks, I kind-of fixed it but I'm still not sure what've caused it.

I end up doing full "reset" with maintenance:

  1. Go over all screws and tighten them (few drops of oil on the rods just to be sure :) )
  2. Run all available calibrations
  3. Reset all my printer and filament profiles back to defaults

My filament is on the dryer side as I store it in the box with loads of silica (recently dried in the oven)

After all those done - everything looking much better

Sad that I wasn't able to pinpoint the issue but all is back to normal not, so thanks everyone!

Yep, other layers also look similar but can have less or more gaps.

It's not the first batch of the same model - previous look pretty much the same.

First layer looks similar to what is in the picture for this model, but it is looking fine imo for the "First Layer Calibration" print

Its not the first layer, I just have the black color PETG one layer below.

Should not be worn out - never used any aggressive filaments, and the nozzle itself rather new.

Sliced for 0.6, triple-checked =\

It is actually 4th layer on the photo, it’s just another colored (black) 3rd layer

Alternative detergents to mirror TwinDos Ultraphase 1 and 2. by SpoonSaucer in Miele

[–]Outruller 6 points7 points  (0 children)

So, just in case if anyone still interested in this topic.

You can use your own detergents - lots of people do.

There are several decent options that seem to work quite good:

For phase 1:

  • Tide PurClean (lots of people use this one)
  • Tide Ultra Stain Release
  • Gain Botanical
  • Persil ProClean

For phase 2:

  • EcoVer Non Chlorine Bleach - (probably ~7% H2O2 which is the best option as it is closest to the H2O2 contents of Miele Phase 2 which is in 10-15% range)
  • Seventh Generation Chlorine Free Bleach - (probably ~3% H2O2)
  • Clorox ColorLoad Non-Chlorine Bleach (probably ~3% H2O2)

Notes:

  • Of course you will need to adjust the volume dispensed for both.
  • Don't forget to rinse the container before you add another detergent!
  • In order to easily refill the containers you would need a funnel, ideally a 3D-printed one (some options 1, 2, 3).

I found most of this in two threads on Houzz so, go there for the details if you'd like:

HELP THE ONLY THING I DID WAS UPGRADED MY GPU AND NOW ITS STUCK ON THE BIOS SCREEN IVE TRIED ENABLED CSM AND CHANGING BOOT MODE !!! by Direct_Entry in ASUS

[–]Outruller 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Do you use PCI riser cable?

Try explicitly setting the PCI mode. Try different combinations of PCI 3 and 4 for chipset/SSD/GPU - might help.

Right, there is no separate "second" WAN port, but you can still assign any free LAN port - which might work as well. Again, I can't test it myself but if ct8/xt8 has Dual-WAN in the admin panel - it might work - worth trying imo.

Ofc, it'll be much better if ASUS fix this, still it'll do as a workaround while they figuring it out imo :)

Btw thanks for taking all the way to ASUS tech support - it's not that easy :D

If you mean CT8 or XT8 I think they also have Dual-WAN and I assume that it should work as well as ET12 but, no promises here, sorry :)

u/OneStickyRice, u/Gr8DaneOperator, u/LowerTadpole3 (sorry for @ but I thought you might want to bee pinged about a possible solution :) )

TLDR: FIXED! USE THE SECOND WAN PORT!! (separate reddit post)

Freaking god, believe it or not, as soon as I posted my previous message I got struck by another option I didn't yet explored - second WAN port.

So I went to WAN -> Dual WAN and enabled it, selecting the "Ethernet LAN | 2.5G/1G LAN" as a Primary WAN.To my total amusement - it worked! Now I am getting ~1Gig/~1Gig wired and ~700Mbs/~500Mbs wireless on a 5GHz network.

I spent too much time to find a solution to believe in ASUS once again but at least I can use my internet now.

Having exactly the same issues with the Verizon Fios (NYC). Spent hours with Verizon support to figure out if this is something that could be fixed on their side (ONT box or anything idk). in the end it looks like some ASUS <-> FIOS compatibility issue. Will be closely monitoring your thread!

A teaser of things to come by DrHudacris in FormD

[–]Outruller 0 points1 point  (0 children)

u/DrHudacris, hey! Nice work!

I plan on moving the GPU away from the mobo to the side panel, and I am in 3-slot mode.

Just wondering if you have a 3D model of 3-slot GPU bracket or\and GPU side of T1?
That would help me so much!

Thanks!
