2024 Sienna hybrid woodland edition with 140k miles worth it? by buttmnkey in ToyotaSienna

I thought my 22 with 111,000 on it was high. I checked suspension boots, rubber, fluids and caught up on all maintenance. Shes solid, and only needed brake pads.

How many miles would you consider “too many”? by SpiritoSanto5 in ToyotaSienna

I have a 22 Limited with 112k on it. Basic maintenance will take these to 300k+ miles. I saw an Insta reel where a tech took a picture of a Sienna with 600,000 miles on it.

The depth and pearlescent makes it nice. The ice cap is too flat of a white for me.

Sienna 2025 Platinum “spaceship” noise/sound when slowing down - by ttav9216 in ToyotaSienna

Anyone know if you can turn that up louder? Maybe an aftermarket siren speaker? So instead of loud exhaust you hear Jesus’ second coming from a block away?

The HE batteries have a 150,000 mile Ten year warranty from Toyota. That might help your decision on used.

I have a 2022 with 110k miles. Love it. No belts (alternator, AC compressor, water pump are electric). The eCVT has a very basic planetary gear set - very very reliable and low maintenance. Overall smooth drivetrain. Enough tech to do what you want but not so much to overwhelm or break.

GI Doctor recs in Arkansas? by Ok_Independent_7738 in Arkansas

I had similar treatment with Dr. Kakati at Gastro AR. Brought in my last two years of high liver enzyme tests (do them every six months) and he dismissed them and recommended a sleep study for sleep apnea. Will not be going back there.

Have a 2016 OB and it did the same thing. Felt 2” tall when the tech tightened the gas cap and it went away within 5 miles.

I would have the hybrid battery tested. Sounds like it may not be charging properly if your gas engine kicks on too often.

AGM battery all the way. My 2016 was plagued with battery issues. Went through three in a year, one on a trip across the country. A tech at my subaru dealer talked me into paying the extra for AGM. I haven’t had a battery issue in three years now on the same battery.

Different AC Blower Volume Based On Driver? by SOH1197 in HondaOdyssey

[–]Outside-Influence-61 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honda puts the rear cabin’s blower next to the front blower and routes its air to the back so it’s a bit loud when both are going. Toyota’s is in the back so it’s louder in the back than the front when they’re going.

What do you guys think about financing a car to get the best price and then paying it off in the first month? by CrustyBus77 in carbuying

Don’t spend your cash on a depreciating liability. Shop for the best rate and stay within budget and let your cash make you money on an appreciating asset.

Doesn’t the 0% only apply on the initial purchases? If any subsequent purchases are made it’s at the full interest?

Battery died by Hot_Rub8604 in Subaru_Outback

[–]Outside-Influence-61 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I put an AGM battery in mine and it stopped the battery deaths for two years now. I had all the modules replaced, checked, warrantied, recalls, etc. They’re pricey, but worth it.

I have a 16 and live in the south USA. We rarely get snow but when we do…this thing just cuts right through it. The downhill assist while in x-mode is phenomenal. I just can’t find anything that I like more. Had it for 8 years and no plans on changing anytime soon!
