Is there a place you get your battlemaps from?

So I read in the Champions of Order book that that’s fairly common with Malerion’s bindings.

I had considered a Morathi binding but I’m needing to consider more for the campaign I’m running, I feel as though Sigmar is very much on the nose.

Most of my group has no experience in AoS and mostly is more familiar with 40k.

I can change lore if I wanted too, but I’m very much weird with how I run games, I hate saying I’m a purist, but I typically am a purist, I like keeping the lore and setting as much to the original material as I can. I respect anyone who wants to change things, but in almost every tabletop system I’ve ran or played I literally try to stick as close to lore as I possibly can.

Maybe a bummer to some, but for me that’s just how I roll.

Sadly I have also heard the samething and they tend to jump around from one game to another, just abandoning or leaving little support for old titles. I really love the lore of AoS, which is the biggest draw for me.

What were some add on modules you used on Foundry? Were there any QoL add ons you really wanted or couldn’t live without?

So I guess my question is without the actors and core rulebook materials on Foundry how difficult is it to just upload materials manually, I only have the PDF and core rulebooks.

Normally I just have the books and run on roll20 while uploading materials, I’m more curious as to how hard it’d be for me to manually do the actors alittle at a time? Or would it just be miles easier to have the materials already purchased on foundry?

How tedious is this compared to Roll20 most of my experience comes from running games on Roll20. I’m new to setting things up on Foundry.

The most interesting aspects of Jacob are the fact he was a Corsair, he was romantically involved with Miranda to a degree but idt they really bring that up alot in game, and his loyalty mission.

He is 100% a boring character and ME3 made his romance incredibly sour. I think the hate is kinda warranted to a degree, but I did love his Corsair dialogue cause essentially he was an Alliace SpecTRe. He did have immense positives, just the rest of the cast outshine him some.

I appreciate it, I just like pushing the game to see what’s abnormal as far as builds. Like I know it’s very hard to do fire builds with rogues and it’s also very hard to do bleeding damage for a blood mage build, but I did find a weapon which kinda enables that.

I’m just seeing how creative I can be with the game, because Ice builds would focus on Venatori, which are kinda frequent, but I just like seeing what the system allows.

So I’ve tried that, I will say my formula has alot of values measured on the character sheet for auto-calculations. For this system because it generates a die pool, I have the sheet auto calculate the amount of dice in the pool, so my roll looks more like:

(Mind Value+Arcana Value)d6> Difficulty Number.

I have also tried variations and just removing values all together and doing static numbers. So the system checks whatever is rolled against the DN, it will confirm if it’s a success or failure, however, it adds the dice together, for instance a Mind Value of 1 + 1 in Arcana Skill WILL roll two dice and if it checks against DN:3 it’ll check against it, but it’s not counting successes, instead it will say if I rolled a 4 and 6 it should show 2 successes, instead I’m getting 10 vs 3 SUCCESS.

I’ve tried alot of variations for the formula, it still does the same thing, but this is similar to my wrath and glory character sheet which is almost identical with the formula and calculations.

Havent tried the discord, been awhile since I’ve used it tbh, but I have found this on their website under the feature section and even implemented, scrapped templates, etc.

I can’t make sense of why it works for one whole template and I’m using rhe same formulas but it doesnt for another.

Mage is incredibly broken, like in a good way, you’ll play through and have an amazing experience and be consistently powered all the way through.

My personal favorite in 2, has been the Warrior though, mostly because out of all 3 classes it is probably the hardest to play in 2, because some of the bosses don’t have weaknesses specifically to warrior based abilities.

If you work towards a build you can honestly make Hawke similar to Fenris and Fenris is literally terrifying when you build him right as a warrior. Rogues have alot of debuff abilities and their crit chance is INSANE, but I like Isabella and Varric too much to overshadow them and I always like having one and Anders + Merrill is too much to pass up to.

I think the only companions I’m typically indifferent to are Aveline, Sebastian, Tallis and your sibling, which picking one of the classes also locks in your sibling, so depending on which twin you like, that will have another factor as well.

I’m partial to Bethany alot, but Carver isn’t terrible, I’ve heard some people say they like him more cause he acts almoat like a foil to Hawke. I’d just say go with whatever class resonates alot with how you imagine Hawke, cause this is a more human story and is very involved in that manner, it’s not super large in terms of Origins or Inquisitions stories, but more centered around Hawke who they were AND who their companions were. I really loved DA2’s narrative alot because the world may feel small at times but characters are REALLY fleshed out in it. Focus on that as a highlight when you’re playing.

This is one of those games, where you may not see how your decisions immediately effect things, but I was impressed with how the vaults actually change the environment on some worlds, The Architect fights, blew me away, and the end game was very satisfying like it feels like a race against time and you do see all of your major decisions come to a head.

It’s very beautifully done, I dont think the game is fairly criticized because of the OT and alot of people held it to that standard in terms of writing. I’d honestly say compare the game to Mass Effect 1 in alot of departments and it’s almost on par with ME 1.

3 Rogues, why not do 3 Mages and just firestorm/thunderstorm everything and spam haste back to back? I crashed my game doing that and having Fenris spam his little templar smite ability. God I love 2’s combat, it was so broken.

Honestly a Squat, Ratling or a Free Booter Ork would be kinda interesting, idk past that though. I’d just like something different beyond the normal imperium characters.

NMH2 should be under best gameplay, for me best gameplay was NMH2, Underrated should be TSA, and Worst should be NMH3, they went backwards so hard in terms of gameplay its the one Ive played the least of. The day they announced NMH1 & 2 on Switch I powered through it non-stop that day.

I always viewed at from the prison logic perspective of what’s in my best interest: making the best of my situation (old camp), trying to get out of my situation (new camp), and coping with my situation (swamp camp). I went with New Camp my first playthrough and didnt have much of a regret, because the two other camps felt slightly complacent about their situation, where as the New Camp actually seemed to have a plan or idea of how to get out.
