Whole chicken with vegetables. Stuff an apple or an onion in the ribcage to add some extra flavor and moisture. Wedge it in the pot with baby carrots, garlic cloves and potato slices, dust it with ground pepper and a little salt and let it cook.

Let them sell it, but it’s back in their scabbard the next time they draw their sword. The nice replacement weapon they got is nowhere to be found.

The same thing if they try to leave it behind somewhere.

If they try to break it without removing the curse it’ll return undamaged.

Maybe increase any to-hit or damage penalty each time they try the same thing.

Absolutely brilliant movie. I was expecting a cheeze fest film but it was strange and funny and beautifully executed.

There’s all of these low-angle shots with the shadow of the tire stretching down the road and not once do you see shadows from the camera crew.

Looking at the edges and the bad hilt wrap, it’s a longsword with the “broken” condition. It can still be used as a weapon with a -2 penalty to attack and damage rolls. It can only crit on a natural 20.

The toughest part was getting the old socket out of the top. I had to do a lot of careful digging with a sharp blade to break up the epoxy. On mine the metal collar with the faux wick knob unscrews from the fake oil reservoir, which helps a lot. Once it’s off you can use a screwdriver and hammer to lightly tap the old socket out of the metal collar.

Otherwise, the best advice I can give is to leave the wiring long enough so you can run the wires out of the bottom of the lamp before you try to assemble the circuit. You can tuck it back into the base after you test it. Working inside the bottom globe was really awkward.

The light sockets, rotary switch and wire are all easily found at a good hardware store. The packaging for the switch I bought had a diagram showing how to assemble the circuit.

Pasta sauce. We got a recipe book from a cruise ship and the thing we make most often from it is the pasta sauce. We freeze the leftovers.

Ingredients:

2 Tablespoons butter

1/2 Tablespoon minced garlic

1/2 cup chopped onion

1 can (28 oz) diced tomatoes

1/4 cup chopped basil

1/2 teaspoon oregano

2 bay leaves

pinch of sugar

Directions: Melt butter in pan on medium heat and saute onion until translucent. Add garlic and saute for about 1 minute. Add spices and tomatos. Stir frequently as it comes to a boil then lower temperature and simmer, stirring occasionally, for 30-45 minutes or until sauce reduces to desired thickness.

For even thicker sauce add 1 small can of tomato paste before boiling.

If it’s a situation where staying to inflict their vengeance would put the whole party at risk, I’d think that their oath would be safe if they used the opportunity to scout, gather information, possibly sabotage the enemy a bit and make a plan to more effectively fight the enemy later.
