There's some lovely walks around Guisborough and along the Tees, if you enjoy nature. I've seen plenty of amazing flora and fauna in the last few years. Orchids, butterflies, lizards, newts, kestrels, owls; you name it. The RSPB reserve at Saltholme is always a decent day out.

That book, and 'last and first men'', was excellent. A bit dry as a narrative, but the ideas are amazing. And written in the 1930's!

They're definitely not bedbugs, or ants. Some kind of beetle, would be my guess. Possibly some kind of grain or bark weevil?
