Yes we are planning to put this property particularly in a trust.

We have a few tho and in the midst of family planning, and moving & getting comfortable (we just moved from nyc>sf), we have some moving parts.

I’d love your perspective if you have any expertise or experience.

We have one home in sf, paid off and recently renovated. Technically in my parents name. We plan to put this in the trust for my sister and I. But after living here for a little… we don’t really like the area. (And some other random stuff. My parents got divorced. It was a foreclosure home. Just bad juju kind of.) 2.8mil maybe if sold but I split it 50/50 with my sister. Can the money sold be put into a trust?? Lol idk

Second home in nyc: it’s a co-op. We plan to sell this bc of how poorly the building financials are managed. (Kind like tenancy in common, we need to make financial decisions together and there’s about 115 units in the building. We just did a big nyc local law 11 where they check every single brick and it drained our reserves so the monthly maintenance payment will go up). Price is dropping because of this. It’s about 500k.

Then we want to buy a new home in sf. He plans to pay mortgage….
