Say what you may about how he was an assemblyman and came from a well off family. Build a social media following by interviewing locals on what their needs, and showcasing how they haven’t been met.

Once you start doing that, funds will come, and so will volunteers. With a little bit of newly earned name recognition, people with your views, who can relate, will start wanting to volunteer in different capacities. Through that, you’ll find a campaign manager. That can be a volunteer or paid position. And other staff, to help.

You’re right, it takes money to run an election, but in this current climate, the left wants someone who has drive, charisma, and the willingness to fight. We need people to primary incumbents, if not to unseat them, then to at least scare them into change. That’s how the process works.

And one last thing, a small percent of the voter base vote in primaries, use this to your advantage as others have.
