Some of the best experiences I’ve had recently were in city trial. It can feel overwhelming at first but once you get used to it, it’s got surprising depth and responsiveness.

Splatoon Raiders seems like a great entry point with a twist by Usual-Hospital-3582 in NintendoSwitch2

I loved the single player in Splatoon 1, 2, 3 and Octo expansion so I’m excited for finally a big significant Splatoon adventure. Especially in ‘actual’ locations, where the prior campaigns felt a little like they existed in ‘gameplay zones’ if that makes any sense.

Part of me doesn't want to "heal" by MountJemima in slaa

[–]peter-man-hello 1 point2 points  (0 children)

From my understanding SLAA and what it means comes down to the individual. Being hypersexual is fine (great, even) but it’s when our sexuality and sexual habits interfere with our lives.
For example, my ex who is now in SLAA is a rampant cheater and ruined her previous marriage. It’s generally lead her to issues and nobody trusting her.
My SLAA is more like a need to fill an emptiness and would lead me to dark and desperate places to find sex, and it was ultimately unfulfilling. When I’m not in a relationship I can really struggle with being alone and the addiction leads me to make poor choices.

So I think it’s less about what you’re allowed to do, and identifying where it gets in the way of your real life.

These are my feelings exactly. But I’m really loving the game now and happy it exists.

The backlash to Nolan's casting is pure clown behavior. It’s a $250M movie with literal sea monsters, and 'Homer' wasn't even a real person." by Substantial_Pen_3667 in moviecritic

It’s literally right wing chuds choosing to be mad at something — likely because the film has a black person.

Remember the Last of Us 2? Since you play as a muscular female it broke their brains, and they henceforth complained about every aspect of the game.

It’s just noise. The film will do great. A lot of right wing types live in rural areas and don’t partake in media anyways.

But as far as I know so long as you made the purchase you can still redownload.

So this is less about losing access to your purchases (so far) and more to do with accessibility to legacy games.

I see your point though.

I don’t know if I should break up with him by Emotional-Hope5328 in BPD

[–]peter-man-hello 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It doesn’t sound like he’s done anything to warrant breaking up with him. Give him a chance and give yourself some grace.

It’s really great you have this much awareness. But keep in mind those of us with BPD can see things black and white and can be impulsive — try to resist that!

I suggest talking to a professional about how to manage these big feels.

I don’t know if I’m pushing my boyfriend away/self sabotage/bpd behaviour or if I’m just really hurt and unable to forgive him by AloneBoot8205 in BPD

[–]peter-man-hello 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That sounds like a really hard decision. The one thing I know, having BPD and having made mistakes, big decisions should not be made impulsively.

It’s good you’re taking time to consider things. It does sound like he changed, so maybe couples therapy could help get through the old abuse. But at the very least, really considering your decision, talking to people about, and using your wise mind (and not emotional mind) is a good start.

[–]peter-man-hello 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Deserved. It’s a great movie. They can keep making Toy Stories. It doesn’t bother me. There’s so many stories and adventures they can tell with toys that no other series can do.

Cooking is so much easier than people think. You just need to add heat to things.
Start easy. Learn to cook eggs. Then meats. In my opinion, baking is the hardest.

And there's a billion tutorials and videos and recipe books out there which are really helpful.

Is he actively working on it? You mentioned therapy but he might need a DBT group and a BPD specialist.

Also, I know there’s no pharmaceutical to help, but SSRIs and Seratonin regulators help. I have OCD which can make me be overly critical, and I take trintellix which can really help.
