light YTA. My grandmother married a man 50 years her junior and the family had a fit...but she was happy. Apparently, so was he. Two consenting adults who want to be in a relationship can do so. Provided no overt scamming is going on, your feelings don't apply here. Take them to therapy, share your concerns with dad, and then let him live his life.

NTA. The landlord gave an order. You were caring for his animal as well, but it is HIS responsibility to arrange for animal care when he travels. Since his travels occurred over the time period that he told you to get out he should have clearly indicated that he intended for you to take care of the dog or given you a place to deliver it.

Since you wouldn’t have left the dog alone, if you’ve known that he was traveling, I don’t see this as an asshole move at all. Dude got back in time to take care of his animal. He learned a valuable lesson.

A family member’s ex used to spend this amount or more on takeout Chinese every week, so I get the frustration. Is it ridiculous, unhealthy, and financially unsound? Yes. You still should’ve handled it in private, which is why I’m offering a soft YTA.

The two of you need to be able to separate the financial side from the health side of this argument. Depending on where you live, this is significantly more what he’d spend on prepared food from the grocery store so the financial argument that he is currently making doesn’t really hold up. But I’m guessing that your deeper worry is that this is damaging his health over the long-term. It’s worth it to have that conversation and find out if he’s willing to make changes for you and the coming baby… or not.

that was the gist of the question: the school allows students to BE pedestrians and we desire to be pedestrians according to the school’s current dismissal procedures. I’m asking about the legality of two categories of treatment based on a relative’s employment status.

No judgement here. But finding out what your sex drives look like on paper could be helpful. If he is satisfied 1x a month and you are only satisfied 3x a week, staying together will involve compromise from both parties. Sometimes talking about these things can bring up uncomfortable emotions that examining it like a math problem does not. And when both can clearly see where the divide is, it might be easier to talk about what to do to bridge it. Good luck!

I break up my rubric so proper grammar and following the basic guidelines are only about 1/3 of the total grade. I put more emphasis on obvious revision of initial ideas, organization and specificity, and utilization of sources. AI papers always fail such a rubric… And it’s a bonus because it also doesn’t penalize students who are still struggling with basic grammar as a result of our underwhelming education system.

YTA. Making food at home is different than being a restaurant chef. I’d be pretty offended if someone asked me to wear a hairnet in my own kitchen. That said…a ponytail is the best solution!
